Yea for new starts, I want to start so many new things but also make progress too. I seem to get fixated on some of the projects and have a hard time switching. I also always think it is not as much as it really is, thinking I can finish it…lol Happy Stitching
I love your choice of pink on the #behappysal! Now I wish I had done the same! I'm in a "I just want to stitch" mood too and thinking about ways to change my rotation! 💝
I can't wait to see your start, friend! I have been paying more attention to how people cycle through their wips. I like your rotation, but am also open to new ideas if you happen to change yours : ) Happy stitching!
I have a similar challenge with wanting to stitch on one thing for many days, and yet wanting to show a lot of different things on my weekly videos. I have thought about making my videos less frequent ... but I like the rhythm of doing them weekly. Dilemma! and thanks for the recommendation of Ryan Hall y'all - I am going to check it out, because I love weather!!
Me too! During the year when it's not hurricane or tornado season, he does a good just explaining the weather patterns and what might happen. They all guess, but he shows how he comes to that conclusion. So fascinating!
Hi Amy Maybe pick a piece that you are close to a finish and make that a focus piece for the week but still add in some smalls. Do you reallY get to do much stitching during the day. Happy stitching my friend
Hi sweet friend! I have tried that before then forget, but I'll try it again : ) It's been a while. I have gotten a lot done during the day in the past, but in the last month or so, not so much. Now it's maybe 30 minutes scattered throughout the day. More in the evenings, but not every evening. My normal routine isn't my normal anymore and I haven't gotten a new routine yet. One day! Happy Stitching and I am so thankful for you : )
Maybe pick a piece to stitch on for a certain amount of time or stitches each day so for part of the day you are doing monogamous stitching and after that set goal is done, move on to other projects. Enjoyed my visit!
The Vivsters flag is so pretty when completed. It is big, but breaking it up like you say isn't a biggie. I hear a lot of stitchers say that sometimes they just want to stitch on one thing; I feel the same at times. Do you know how many graduates are going to be in your son's 2025 class? Exciting times!
I really enjoy stitching on the flag and think it'll be fun picking and choosing which quaker to work on. The outline seems to go pretty fast. So in the meeting there were 11 families and a couple weren't there, so looks like 13-15 students will be graduating from our homeschool group. Last year, I think it was 10 or so and the year before was about 15, so we are about right. Though a lot more homeschooling families have moved into our area. Thinking the number will increase. Makes me want to stitch more- I'm not ready : )
Empty nesting isn't easy to think about. I don't even like it when all of my kids are just away for a few hours😢 You all are probably better connected with the homeschooling community there. We are members of a group in Biloxi, but we only go to maybe one activity a month because it's so far away. It's nice to have the formal graduation ceremony, though. I haven't watched your last flip through yet, so I will do that this evening. 😊
Nice stitching!
I started my Yasmin too…Spring Bouquet also with a bird. Gtreat minds think alike. 🦉🪡🧵🐦⬛
Spring Bouquet is lovely! Great minds : ) So glad to be stitching with you!

Yes! They are deceptively stitch heavy-lol! But I guess it's a good problem to have : )
Beautiful stitching! 😊
Thank you friend!
Nice. Visit while I stitched. Good to see you again Amy.
Hi friend! Catching up with y'all this afternoon- woohoo- will keep trying to talk y'all into moving closer : )

I must get out Winter Rose Manor! It's all kitted up (for a few years now!). Thanks, Amy!
Yes, you should and yay!!!

I have made plans like that before, but you know I can't keep a plan- lol!
Still catching up! Happy Stitching! - Valerie
Love it!

Hi friend : )
What grade is your son graduating from?
He's a high school senior. It just goes by so very fast!
