- Kevin David is one of hundreds of UA-camrs who's gameplan for content is to farm content from other people, throw it in a word salad machine and spit it out the same, but slightly different. People like Richard Yu, Kevin David, are just ripping off competitors and not coming up with their own ideas. Now bear in mind everything that I say in this video is strictly my opinion but let me also remind everyone that plagiarism is considered by many to be a form of theft, plagiarism is an intellectual form of theft. This is why some have called Kevin David "Copycat Kevin" or "Copyright Kevin" due to his extreme copying behavior.
If we don't start calling these people out like Kevin David when they blatantly rip off other people's content, we will be incentivizing a generation of 'entrepreneurs' to do the exact same thing and become copies of a copy of a copy...

Visually what does it look like, price points, offers, upsells, headlines, sales copy...layout of each individual page, and borrowing those elements to fit your product or service.
So if we're both ultimately selling a course on how to create your own dropshipping business and you're business is making a killing...I might go through your sales funnel and break down each part to incorporate into my sales funnel.
What is your initial offer...In this case let's say a "free" book... People give you their name and email... Pay that fee... What shows up on the next page before they submit payment... What is the upsell... What does each page say... What are you charging for everything. I'd have to spend my money to go through your sales funnel... But now I see what you're doing and why it works. Now I can make my own version of your sales funnel... Using my free book, my brand colors, logo, replace your text with my text, etc.

I called this Richard Yu guy out a long time ago! I saw his videos, outlined all the issues with his content and his scams. He responded with a load of nonsense and the typical guru speak. I asked to get on a skype call with him to help him see the issues, he never responded to that comment, only to call it hate! I think I might have stopped a few people from signing up to his course, but it felt nearly useless!
He's built his brand on being a good 'christian' and the grind life style, then he realised he could make thousands scamming and that audience converted over so easily! I was astonished. I knew Richard would keep gaining traction, but to see the guy I called out at 20k now have 170k is frightening. If it was so obvious then why has he gained 150k new suckers?! Incredible. Keep up the good work exposing these people!

This channel is absolutely brilliant. Unique, very insightful and informative. Every young person should be watching this channel as the number of videos and ads promoting scammer's courses, forex trading, Amazon FBA is growing exponentially; it is very easy to believe the hype and even more so when the likes far outweigh the dislikes on such videos. There are hardly any channels like this. All I see is scammer channels everywhere across youtube trying to take your money.

A big UA-camr copied one of my videos a couple of months ago. He used the exact 5 steps and used all of my references in order. I was blown away. I have since deleted the video, but I was disappointed. I came onto his radar after @ ing him in a live chat that he was a guest on. I guess he perused my channel for content and stole ideas that he wanted.
A semi-big YTer stole an idea from my channel recently too and she has triple the amount of views than I do on the same topic.
This stealing content thing is running rampant. Yes, creators get inspiration from others, but to take and not acknowledge the source is not cool.
It happened years ago as well when I had a blog. I commented on a YT video. The big YTer replied, went to my profile, went to my blog, and made a video on one of my blog posts word for word.
I mean at least shout me out when you rip me off. lol
I am glad to have a day job and I don't have to resort to ripping off of other creators to eat. It's a shame, but I guess once you make a video public, its fair game. Its dog eat dog in these TY streets! lol

I don’t know much about Sam Ovens’s programs but I took a couple things like that where what they taught in the program was “here’s a Facebook Ads script” or whatever, “copy it and fill in your own details”. So maybe those people are doing something like that within his programs.
A lot of these people will be apart of a “marketing guru” group. The kind of groups that say “get access to my plug in and play converting ad copy” and then they all go out and use the same copy

@coffeezilla Thanks for the Honorable mention! lol. No excuses, we did take Sam's ad and its just to call us out for that. We will own it. I am in Sam's high ticket programs and really respect Sam. It started because I saw the ad and wanted to test something similar in my niche to see how it did. I was (and still am) relatively small and unknown so I borrowed thinking I could test and iterate my own version. Plus, no one in my niche really knows Sam so I thought it was safe. Lesson learned.
That particular ad was very hard to "model" and make our own because it lists off items that people in my niche do too. I actually did change a couple things in the ad to make it honest to what I align with but it's still too close and looks like his ad so it is what it is. A copy.
This is no attempt to make excuses for myself, I accept the full weight, I guess it's just an example of how someone can get caught up in this without the full intent of some of the biggest rule breakers in the space.
I'm a fan and watch your stuff. The plagiarism and stealing thing in our space is a major rampant problem so it really sucks to fall into that ourselves with an ad. If you'll have me I'd be honored to get the opportunity to redeem myself with how this type of thing can be avoided.

I'm a fan of your channel. I have an art project plan for images to get really messed up by re-copying them. So I (or anyone with an old photocopier of course) could add plagiarism GooRoos to the stack of images ready to go through the process. In fact I will - thing is it will take me a little while so I thought I'd put the idea out there. Great video you made.
It will take me about 2 months (because I am moving now).
Also the poor old machine may have aged too far so I gotta test it. Last I checked it is a PERFECT candidate for this process, maybe even too good. If you want to talk about it, you could select the images yourself (to go through my machine) for use on your channel. Of course I'd do it for nothing. Also I repair these old things so MAYBE I can really run it into the ground.

Dude Richard Yu, used to make THE SAME type of content (majority of the times) for a long time and used to plug his average coaching program at the end of it, but after a while his audience got tired of the repetitive content so he switched it up by copying others..wow.

This shit drives me nuts! I've been in online marketing for over 10 years and between the gurus, the copying, and low entry it has become insane. I'm always having to fix client campaigns bc they fell for one of these scams or hired someone who just downloaded a copy & paste AD swipe file. It is an insanely hard field that most fail at but are being sold on this pipe dream of a rich lifestyle with no work involved. I hope they all get exposed!

I love what you are doing, preventing people to join courses/programs. Many programs requires hard work and is too advanced for beginners therefore some dont get results.
Those programs im talking about are made for winners, winners to win more. And not for losers trying to make a quick buck. Im happy you prevented those losers to join and add polution to the communities, and you have saved these people money. These programs are simply not for them.
For those who is following Coffeezilla videos, you are not ready yet to join those programs, or have joined when you're not ready, and want to confirm that you are right that its a scam.
You still gotta understand that Amazon, Dropshipping, High Ticket Sales, UA-cam Automation, Instagram Marketing, Ecommerce, Affiliate Marketing, etc are real businesses. Many people do get results.

I needed money desperately. Whatever is the story, I subscribed to KD last night. But I didn't continue to sign up on his course because I don't have enough money. If everybody ignored the copyright rules/laws, then the laws wouldn't hold. The power is with the people. The only reason the laws are effective is because most people follow them. When first enacted, copyright laws were good for the people, now they favor the mega corporations and the ultra rich. So the fact that what you describe is happening is pretty cool. I hope it continues to grow.

It's a little bit UA-cam's fault too. They promote "similar videos" so being original doesn't get rewarded as much as making the almost-same video. It's slightly worse than what they do on Tiktok trends, but a lot of people do it. The whole self-help industry is one big plagiarism thing too: They all parrot someone else and tweak it a bit.

They talk about, the case, the camera, the cpu, the battery, the color. Only difference is that each of them will focus on an area of importance on the iPhone that is important to them.
