There's an interview with Glenn Leonard ( Prime Nostalgia Podcast) saying that the guy who set the reunion tour up only wanted the original tempts but eddie did not want to come back to the group so glenn and richard came to an agreement to sit out for some of the show

During the reunion tour, they would do the classic five segment in their shows and Richard and Glenn sit out for that particular part of the show.
