My Dad had been sick thru most of November and December was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I would be with him every day, all day at his long term care facility, and then come home late of an evening and your videos would help me unwind. He passed away the week before Christmas, which was hard. But I know you've been there, as have others, and we will all get thru it together. One day at a time. But I just wanted to say how thankful I am that I found your channel. From one redhead to another, I wish you and your family much happiness and many blessings for this coming year!

He was in the hospital for 3 months last year as he had to have a trach placed but then was never able to get off the ventilator. He had so many lung issues due to all the illnesses he had and it really took its toll.My mom and I took training so he could come home and he did. He was home on the vent from July to November before his health came crashing down. The night before thanksgiving we had to make the devastating decision to take him off life support. He passed a few minutes later. He was only in his 50s. I'm in my mid 20s. I know how heartbreaking it is to lose a parent and to have to watch their health deteriorate. My mom and I couldn't bring ourselves to celebrate Christmas this year. I relate to finding zabrena's channel an escape even if for a few minutes. Once again you have my deepest condolences and I pray for comfort in this continuous time of grief and mourning. 💕

I like to use my Clinique peach color corrector first. Even the L'oreal correcting stick works great too! It's very creamy and never gets dry under your eyes. Blends like a dream. You only need a dab of the Clinique product!! Just a dab on the dark area. Then concealer. My under eyes are dark too and I always look tired. Lol. But either one of these help me out.
To everyone who is worried about the oxidization, don't be. I work in makeup and put this foundation on all different skin types(even though it works best on the oily gals) all day long. The issue is that when people try to color match without help, they most likely aren't swatching it properly and pick the wrong color. When they match you they swatch the color and then blend it in for you with allows for the foundation to dry down. When it drys down the color is the final color. It's not going to change. What most people think is oxidization is just the liquid drying. Not to say that oxidization doesn't happen but in my experience most people when they return foundation and say that it oxidized they didn't get color matched or try it on their face in store.
I am shade 120 too! The great thing with this concealer is that you choose the same number for concealer as for foundation. If you want it lighter, take 110. Darker, for contouring, choose 130. The foundation is really REALLY good for an oily gal like me! I love it! And it doesn't feel like anything on the skin! I actually thought you put on a little too much, but that could be bc of your lighting.

Fenty recently expanded their shade range! They have a new lighter warm toned foundation 105 for those of us who couldn't use 120! Seeing 120 here makes me excited to try 105 since I knew 120 would be way too dark. I've been dying to try Fenty since it launched but I just couldn't justify buying a foundation that expensive knowing it wouldn't match. I'll pass on the concealer though. Makeup Revolution nailed concealer for me.
I am super excited to see what 105 looks like! A friend sent me 120 and it runs pink on me so I'm hoping 105 is a better match - especially now that I also have a much better skincare routine. If you try it out, could you comment back with your thoughts on the shade? I'm pale neutral/olive and most all foundations run too pink, cool pink, white or orange.
fancydeer I recommended getting a sample of the primer, it really changed the way my Fenty face looked! Also shaking both the primer and foundation bottle helps activate the ingredients. I’m so happy people on both end of the spectrum got their respective shades added,?so they can rock it as well! Good luck.

I find that so many people on this site do heavy instagram makeup and never do close ups of their skin, which is more than unhelpful for someone who just wants to do a basic, simple makeup routine. Kelly Scott the concealer seems more forgiving and creamier than the foundation! Also it doesn’t oxidize, I hope Fenty does release a satin natural finish foundation for the dry skin girls and guys 👍🏾
Congratulations on 500k Zabrena💜❤💜 I can only get the Fenty foundation to work for me in the fall/winter. This past summer it just melted, it wouldn't set on my oily skin. It's a seasonal foundation for me

Hi Jayne! I saw your comment this morning and wanted to test this out before getting back with you - it looks gorgeous over drugstore foundations! Does the same thing as it did with the Fenty foundation. I know what you mean about some products being "made" for one another. I used the powder with my CG Clean foundation and it blurred it so beautifully. Definitely one worth looking into if you like that look!

You should of applied the Fenty Beauty Foundation Primer before the foundation, it really helps the longevity. Another tip is always shake all of your Fenty Beauty liquid products well before use to activate!
I don't like to do that personally, I feel like if a foundation is at this price point, it should be able to stand on its own. Especially when I have several drugstore foundations, under $10 that can do just that :)
The foundation brush has an interesting shape. It looks like a cross between a traditional foundation "paddle style brush" and the RT expert face brush imo. The foundation and powder look so great on you! Have you tried their "cheek hugging" highlighter brush? I've wanted that one since I first saw it. It's too bad the foundation and concealer didn't last well on your skin.
Just wanted to say in case you didn't try... Maybe setting the undereye with a little more powder? When you did the powder application I didn't see you really set that area. Maybe you did and you cut that out. Or maybe try to bake a tiny bit to see if that does anything? I'm glad to see this getting a better review I feel like back in July people either liked it or they didn't. You look beautiful in this video! Great job!

I am sold on that loose powder! Although Fenty is expensive (IMO) it’s actually nice stuff. I’ve noticed many brands in Sephora are no better than many drugstore products & sometimes not as good.
I'm a 120 in Fenty. I'm a neutral undertone and I had some good luck with it. Though I have dry to normal skin. So lots of moisturizers for me to get it nicely.
I'm actually excited to try the powder since I have kinda enjoyed the Huda one tho I wanted a shade that was better suited for my skintone so I'm willing to give it a try. For some reason when I use the Huda one under my eyes, I eventually see it leaves the area a bit darker which looks strange. I'm wondering if that's because it's sitting in a moist area being dried down unless that makes no sense :-/
Have you tried JOAH? Ran all over hell’s half acre to find the CVS Korean Makeup line. Had to order it on line but so far LOVE it. Their drop foundation is awesome but had to order two shades due to not being able to see it in person. I decided to use the light shade under my eyes as a highlighter. Also love the gel eyeliner blended with a brush.

I wish Fenty would do a dewy foundation for us dry skin peeps!! I tried it when it first came out and it looked and felt like crepe paper on my skin. 😖
Kelly Scott the concealer seems more forgiving and creamier than the foundation! Also it doesn’t oxidize, I hope Fenty does release a satin natural finish foundation for the dry skin girls and guys 👍🏾

I can only get the Fenty foundation to work for me in the fall/winter. This past summer it just melted, it wouldn't set on my oily skin. It's a seasonal foundation for me

Would that powder work as great on top of a drugstore foundation? I just wonder if the end result would look as beautiful or if the Fenty products have some sort of bonding ingredient that make them work together better. Does that make sense? Thanks for the review.
Hi Jayne! I saw your comment this morning and wanted to test this out before getting back with you - it looks gorgeous over drugstore foundations! Does the same thing as it did with the Fenty foundation. I know what you mean about some products being "made" for one another. I used the powder with my CG Clean foundation and it blurred it so beautifully. Definitely one worth looking into if you like that look!

But maybe in March for my birthday I may splurge and treat myself. But certainly wanted to check as I'm finding your drugstore options and tips a more favorable option for my wallet. Although I've been watching you for well over 6 yrs and know you're honest, I appreciate that you told us that you received all the products as PR at the very beginning of the video. I hope this becomes a law soon. The foundation looks like a perfect match. This is the first filtering powder where I actually can see it the filtering effect as you apply it - definitely intrigues me enough to buy it. Congrats again! :)

thank you for your honesty. I do not like the foundation as it is too dry for my skin and was looking forward to the concealer and setting powder. I wish you would have reviewed the lavender setting powder. Since you and I are the same shade in Fenty this was extremely helpful! Guess I will only be buying the setting powder.

You should of applied the Fenty Beauty Foundation Primer before the foundation, it really helps the longevity. Another tip is always shake all of your Fenty Beauty liquid products well before use to activate!
I don't like to do that personally, I feel like if a foundation is at this price point, it should be able to stand on its own. Especially when I have several drugstore foundations, under $10 that can do just that :)
The foundation brush has an interesting shape. It looks like a cross between a traditional foundation "paddle style brush" and the RT expert face brush imo. The foundation and powder look so great on you! Have you tried their "cheek hugging" highlighter brush? I've wanted that one since I first saw it.
It's too bad the foundation and concealer didn't last well on your skin.

Just wanted to say in case you didn't try... Maybe setting the undereye with a little more powder? When you did the powder application I didn't see you really set that area. Maybe you did and you cut that out. Or maybe try to bake a tiny bit to see if that does anything? I'm glad to see this getting a better review I feel like back in July people either liked it or they didn't. You look beautiful in this video! Great job!

I am sold on that loose powder! Although Fenty is expensive (IMO) it’s actually nice stuff. I’ve noticed many brands in Sephora are no better than many drugstore products & sometimes not as good.
I’m really interested in the setting powder and a few brushes. I haven’t tried anything that you have shown. Thanks Zabrena.

I'm a 120 in Fenty. I'm a neutral undertone and I had some good luck with it. Though I have dry to normal skin. So lots of moisturizers for me to get it nicely.
I'm actually excited to try the powder since I have kinda enjoyed the Huda one tho I wanted a shade that was better suited for my skintone so I'm willing to give it a try. For some reason when I use the Huda one under my eyes, I eventually see it leaves the area a bit darker which looks strange. I'm wondering if that's because it's sitting in a moist area being dried down unless that makes no sense :-/

Have you tried JOAH? Ran all over hell’s half acre to find the CVS Korean Makeup line. Had to order it on line but so far LOVE it. Their drop foundation is awesome but had to order two shades due to not being able to see it in person. I decided to use the light shade under my eyes as a highlighter. Also love the gel eyeliner blended with a brush.
