The “can I touch your hair” thing is just 🙄. I started wearing beanies to work (all year round) because I got TY-RED of that ish. When I did wear it out, I wore a personalized tag that said…THANK YOU FOR NOT TOUCHING MY HAIR!!!! Now, no one dares. 😆
THE BUMP 😂 omg I hated it. My mom would even bump/roll up the end of my corn rolls leaving me no hang time. She know I was going for a lil bow wow look 🤣
if you don't jump to another crisis, then your body will exit survival mode and then all the pain you've endured, all the ptsd will start seeping out of your bones and ot's super uncomfortable, but apparently that's how you move through it or something
Oof hear that around taking on more than you should and hearing jade say 'I'm experiencing my decisions" really sat with me because I've been processing lately that I've just been go go go for the last 3 years and my physical body is literally over it and I need to make some real hard decisions in the coming months. I'm also like I need to just focus on me and stop overstressing and overworking. Aah this conversation! Jade with another one: "it's one to say your truth and it's another thing to do it." Because I've been wanting to have better work boundaries and I thought I had better family bounfaries and they do exist now and in the past year I just didn't have that. So now just gotta get better at protecting my heart and joy. Love that question too "Are you crafting what you want your future to be right now?" Because I think I'm on my way. a cool hairstyle arrows could consider is high top locs. you can have shaved sides or faded. once the hair on the top grows it looks like you have a full set of locs when ever your hair is down. a lot of people in my life have that style and it looks nice. its alot easier to maintain then full locs too.
