      Thanks dude. 2020 we ran this race with the tour and I got lapped on the 4th lap, 2022 and we had a straightaway on the field on lap 4. We aren’t as good as we wanna be, but we’re much better than we started!

    Well you had a set back but that was some GRREAT racing especially the heat race, I sure wish the track would put down some more water, I think it would help hold that track together. 🏁🇺🇸ML33MI

      Their track prep is definitely a work in progress, esp in the early spring like this was. Felt good to run up front with some of the best around but also felt like we were good enough and let one get away from us..

    Just found your channel. So far pretty damn 👍 good. Is that a Slider Chassis you have? Is Raceway 7 still on the Penn-Ohio schedule?

    • @HutiraMotorsports
      @HutiraMotorsports  2 роки тому

      Thanks for checking us out! Nope, I have an SS Chassis but we run against plenty of Sliders. I don’t believe Raceway 7 is on the schedule, but they do still follow our rules!

    Have you raced with a car that's number was 7up i believe? If you have that was a car that my good friend in Ohio built. It's a Adams chassis. He's from laureville Ohio. He ran at kc raceway in chillicothe Ohio.

    Hey guys great heat race so pleased for the 2nd. Such a shame about the feature. That turn 1 looked like a nasty rut as u turned in the car looked like it jumped. Great teamwork 👍 from Uk

    • @HutiraMotorsports
      @HutiraMotorsports  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks! Appreciate the support! The camera really has a smoothing effect in it, the rut was terrible. Sent the car airborne every lap. Missed opportunity at a great payday, but that’s racing 🤷‍♂️ on to next week!

    You should have at least finished 2nd track conditions were awful dusty dry rough bad holes made a couple costly mistakes that's dirt racing ! Every driver makes them ! A little more patients !! On a track like that better check all your suspension parts front and back !!! What kind of track conditions will you get when the summer heat sets in !!! Is that a half mile ?? Looks like it. Nice semi banked track but needs better maintenance ! By the end of the night that track is gone !! Did well under tough conditions !!! Your driving skills are definitely well enough to run a modified and be competitive !!!! What is your next goal for stepping up ?? What motor is that monster !!! I'm actually surprised how well you run with all those suspension restrictions and all that power !! That's definitely not a restricted motor in that thing you got quite a bit tied up in that monster !!! I think you could be pretty successful in a modified !! Small block guys have been well within competitive in big block shows look at " the kid " Billy Pauch !!! He beat the biggest guys with a small block !!! You are young I'm not sure if you know who I'm talking about !!! You have a lot of opportunities open to you, don't ever limit yourself but be smart and practical !!! Fine finish !!! Good job of coming back !!!

      Mistakes cost us for sure. Everyone has to race the same track so we got no excuse. Our car was definitely very very good. This is a big half mile. Missed opportunity but we’ll learn from our mistakes move on. Track is usually smooth, not as dusty and lots of bite but rain showers missed us Justin before race time and track was waiting on rain. Also some new clay put down this off-season that’s probably pretty “dirty”. Not an ideal night but definitely could’ve gone worse!

    It was a crappy move on the 17 car. No excuse. You took him out and should have been put to the back also for causing the caution. It is not necessary to tear up another team's equipment. It's bad sportsmanship IMO.

    • @HutiraMotorsports
      @HutiraMotorsports  2 роки тому

      I was 4 car lengths behind him on entry. He nearly stopped after he hit the hole and I had no where to go. I didn’t intentionally take him out and it ruined my race too. Intentionally wrecking someone is bad sportsmanship. I ran the same line lap after lap. Rewatch the lap before. I expected to be penalized but was not bc they determined he was already wrecking himself. Things happen quick at 100 mph. Do you drive?
