Is LeeAnn the worlds new Delilah??? Like the Delilah from the late night radio show who would play 80's ballads and "timeless love songs", haha. This woman is full of SOOO much wisdom, passion, and love
I'm so thankful for your podcast. LeeAnn, you have helped me countless times over these past couple years. Thank you for your vulnerability, your honesty, and your strength. You are truly inspiring and adorable to boot! Hey Bert❤
The way she just burst his bubble was hilarious!! He was so genuinely hurt and she was just messing around. She needs to really make up for it 😂 give him a treat.
Man I just got so excited for this. Love watching their dynamic. I think it would be so cool to sit and talk with them. Both separately and together honestly.
I love watching you guys communicate about your callers’ questions because it definitely leads to how you two handle the issues within your marriage. I can relate to you both since I’m 53 and my husband is 52 . We’ll be married for 30 years in April so we definitely have been through a lot of these situations ❤️
Interesting the dynamics when you have two families and grew up in two very different locations. Shows you how diverse these United States are. I was born and grew up in Orange County, CA and moved to El Paso, TX in the 2nd grade.
I am not a very religious person and never have been, but I had a plan if I had a kid or kids to take them to church every Sunday for the discipline of it. The family as a group gets dressed up, listens to the sermon telling us the do well and treat people with respect, etc etc and then we go out to eat afterwards. I didn't want to push the kids to get immersed in the church, just the routine of it and the positive messages, but their church experience for the week started and ended with our Sunday mass. If they wanted to do more when they were old enough to make that decision, then they can choose that path. Basically, I wasn't forcing church on them (even though it sounds like it), but I do think certain aspects of it are good for children to have in their life, and I'd want to focus specifically on those aspects.
Bert, don’t feel weird or like you’re sharing too much when you say you have OCD. This is the first time I heard that you have OCD. I have OCD as well as other anxiety disorders and bipolar disorder so it makes me feel so not so alone, if you know what I mean. I’m actually tearing up writing this because of all the stigma and false perceptions I’ve received be wise of my mental health. It’s nice to know I’m not alone. Not that I’d want anyone to suffer like me but it’s nice to know that others understand.
It's so refreshing to see two people who genuinely care about each other and really listen to the other person. Oh wait i thought this was the Kottie episode.
Q3 was interesting that both acknowledge the great benefit that they were given as children in their church communities and the centering peacefulness that having a lifelong connection to God still brings to their lives. However in their own parenting they prioritized giving their children everything except that. Now they are surprised/saddened that they have raised atheists/agnostics. I find it interesting because I feel this is the norm among is GenX parents. What did they think would happen?
Bert! You can accept Jesus as your Lord and savior now. You do NOT have to change, the change comes after. It sounds like you all would love a non denominational Christian church. I love how real you all are. May God keep blessing you and your family!
Bert fatigue is real. I enjoy Leeann’s podcast. I do not enjoy Bert in WOTP He pretends to be working on himself. He’s not in therapy just using therapy buzz words and phrases to deflect from his aggressive ego and delusional narcissism. Watching his family and employees enable his behavior isn’t fun. It’s sad.
Long distance parenting.. my dad was long distance.. he rarely called, missed my birthdays, didn't come to them, when I did see him he still played music and we fit around his music, his gigs and his stuff.. so please don't do that. Don't make your kids feel thay they aren't important or loved. They shouldn't have to try and figure out why.. also I missed my dad on Xmas thinking he was all alone coz he never saw us. Turns out he never saw us coz he was busy playing music at a music festival lol so first caller DONT DO THAT lol
Damn. I miss Bert 1. Sorry he died from all his ailments Tom has told us about. Don't know what happened to Bert 2 but best of luck with Bert #3 Lee Ann. 😳😁💨💨✌RIP Bert 1. Sorry I missed you in Macon. Fooking eye infection. Catch you on the next round in 18-24 months. 👀😂😎

I ❤️ these Q&A episodes…it’s almost like a dose of therapy 😊
I love both of these beautiful humans
I love Leeann. Bert is the luckiest guy in the world.
Bert what you said about shadows... wow.. gave me a new perspective thank you!
There’s a small list of people who (even after my divorce) I want to have a relationship like and you two are on that list.
Interesting the dynamics when you have two families and grew up in two very different locations. Shows you how diverse these United States are. I was born and grew up in Orange County, CA and moved to El Paso, TX in the 2nd grade.
Thank you. Both yourself and Bert. I’ve struggled with accepting happiness and both of y’all are my light at the end my tunnel.

Regarding Q4: I’d commit a misdemeanor for a friend but not a felony. 😉
