Welcome to what is arguably the best season of the show and of Sci-FI TV ever. Loved how you connected the dots to episodes you saw many months ago. I'm sure you'll have a blast in the coming weeks and months watching this.
As I understand it, Season 3 was the first time in TV that an entire season was written by just 1 person, JMS himself. The meeting at the end was between Mr Endawi, the Senator and a Psi-Cop.
@@RetroRobotRadio WRONG ... a) Bureau 13 is run by the Psi-Corps (a "dark tricks squad") b) Bureau 13 "doesnt exist anymore", because there was a game or whatever ... which had that name and they asked JMS to not use it anymore.
I met the actor who played Marcus! Lovely dude. Very funny. Didn't mind an awkward kid at a sci-fi con who wanted a picture. Glad you've "met" him in the show now.
I will never get chills seeing the reveal of a shadow ship, even when it's a clip in a reaction video with a water mark over it. Truly a terrifying sight to be seen. This is where the show really takes off and only has a few breathers here and there to let you catch your breath before the next plunge. This season's opening is probably my favorite, and it so perfectly sets the tone for where we are at.
Indeed, I think he had no ill intentions and was just doing his job without any idea that he might be helping the wrong side. This is why I think he never mentioned Sheridan´s little excurse to anyone.
Season 3 and 4 is the best and this was the kickoff. Enjoy and with the ship they can get away from the tin can in space a bit more, so not just a single focus anymore on the Galaxy but a broader focus. Imagine doing a series on WWII and never leaving Pearl Harbor or a series on Napoleon and never leaving Paris. Yes you have a central point of focus but with the White Star you now have a regular way to go places. Buckle up you are in for a ride including a show that even beat the major film Independence Day for an award.
From what I've heard, the studio pushed the Keffer character onto the show. They wanted a young attractive male character to draw in female viewers. JMS hated this and killed him off at the end of the season.
I was waiting for you to put the pieces together with Kosh before the reveal, as you had mentioned him glowing and flapping his wings in previous episodes. :)
the babylon 5 universe is small earth only has 20 star systems and 10 colonies all the big powers are only about 20 star systems each the smaller one maybe 3-5 systems and they havent explored out very far yet
I thought the end music used was wrong but perhaps the Season 3 end credits music only kicks in at episode 5 or so. Does anyone know if the end credit music did originally change during S3 or whether this is a streaming thing? Edit: tracked down and it seems the first 2 episodes of S3 use the same credit music as S2.

So many great episodes this season, I love this one but there are many better yet to come.
"To all things there is a time. Maybe it´s theirs." Chilling moment...also another great G´Kar moment for the collection.
Marcus is one of the best characters ever ... next to all the others on B5 (minus Keffer).

Aka Bureau 13.

Really happy to see your reviews again. This season is awesome.
Exactly, that's why the shadows helped. Also... no that wasn't the Night Watch... that was a Psi Corp uniform...
That´s even worse.

Great to see your reactions are back. Love your passion for the show. Season 3 is awesome.

I always liked Endawi, just a dude trying to do his job

Get a seat belt fitted to your chair as you are about to be totally blown away by what is coming, it's brutal, epic and puts DS9 to shame.

and so it begins

I'll ask the important question first, because everyone else will be scared and avoid it.
Where's your Moustache?
It's a solid season opener.
There are some great television episodes this season.
Yeah! The White Star...
and Marcus .. I like him.
Be seeing you!
I was waiting for you to put the pieces together with Kosh before the reveal, as you had mentioned him glowing and flapping his wings in previous episodes. :)
'I have always been here.' Sheridan and kosh are archetypes, like Arthur and Merlin. The archetypal heroes of the story.
And the Shadows? Morgan Le Fay?
It is a great opener
This season is the best of the best. Just wait !!
The CORRECT description is ... *a PLUCKED CHICKEN!*
The title music of Season 3 is a lot darker, taking into account the shift from hope to desperation.
The Shadows are coming

As I recall a JMS post, basically they forgot to do this in the final edit.
Sheridan is an amazing captain , better than Sisko , on par with Kirk .
SADLY ... "Zagros 7" is kinda WRONG ... because Drazi arent part of the Rangers at this time.
Have you stopped msking reaction vids Euan ?
