Import tax is usually 200% but these dealers are not only marking up but a full car price markup even after import tax. This is almost a robbery. If the government lowers import tax it would encourage people to privately import their own cars and these dealers won't have a monopoly on the market.

I dont think how much somethings cost in Canada or in the U.S should be a factor in determining how much it should cost in Ethiopia. The reverse is also true. Here in the U.S, I have purchased amharic books, CDs, magazines, spices and even injera at 20x what it cost in Ethiopia. If the price on the cover of a book is 20 birr, we all know it means $20. Was it fair? It depends. All I know is that I paid willingly.
It's all about taxes [key element], shipping & profit my friend, and also they buy dollars in the black market so they significantly increase the price when they sell it here. It's quadruple the normal price tag. It's not fair but it's a business. they have to make a profit somehow. I'm referring to the ones that work legally though.

Too much unrefined technology. I owned one the 2021 Evoque and I had this car for 5 months I came across quite a bit of technical issues. It's a British pile of junk. It would be great if there is lease or partial down Payment and payment arrangement options are available based on individual income so most people can buy since most people can’t afford full payment in advance. I know Maraton, Haile G/selasie’s company does that. It would be great if you visit his company so people can have an idea. Also you should visit out of Bole area or another area including places where used cars are available to compare prices and to give big pictures of the markets for buyers.

FAW is a chinese company i'd say they're as reliable as a range rover which basically is unreliable and plus there's not many reviews on these cars which tells you something. i'd say avoid bestune and also why do people buy range rovers?? they're awesome and luxurious but you won't have it more than a year. it will for sure break down within a year. I'd say the peugeot is pretty good. From a design perspective, I think the Peugeot 3008 looks much nicer than the 5008. 2008 ain't bad either.

Range rovers reliability score is known and verified to be extremely low. so the comparison is that FAW doesn't have more than appx 5 reviews on youtube and it's reliability is pretty low because a lot of issues happen on either it's engine or gearbox. FAW is a chinese company i'd say they're as reliable as a range rover which basically is unreliable and plus there's not many reviews on these cars which tells you something. i'd say avoid bestune and also why do people buy range rovers?? they're awesome and luxurious but you won't have it more than a year. it will for sure break down within a year. I'd say the peugeot is pretty good. From a design perspective, I think the Peugeot 3008 looks much nicer than the 5008. 2008 ain't bad either.

Range rovers reliability score is known and verified to be extremely low. so the comparison is that FAW doesn't have more than appx 5 reviews on youtube and it's reliability is pretty low because a lot of issues happen on either it's engine or gearbox. THAT's THE COMPARISON.
