Second gen MDX doesn’t have Bose. The head unit is Alpine. The speakers are Panasonic. Also, in the beginning of the video you open the door to a different car, definitely not a second gen MDX. Probably first.

I googled why my battery drains over night and found out it could be the stereo. Where would I buy an aftermarket stereo to replace mine on my 2008 Acura MDX?

Thank you. My 2007 MDX CD player isn’t working either so I found another unit to replace it. Do you know if my radio code will work on the replacement? If not, how do I get it working as it didn’t come with a code?

Great video - did everything you showed. And took it one step further by removing the CD cover and found the penny my kid put into the player. So problem solved. I placed the unit back in and now nothing comes on. No prompt for a security code - screen is blank - radio is dead - no time - no backup cam - I do have AC. thoughts? thx
