That’s some big number being knocked out in a day👌your doing more in a day than I do in 2 weeks lol. Don’t think I’ve ever seen bales 6ft apart either 😳😁. Would love to see how quick those Massey’s could go… maybe you should try on the last swath this year 😁
😂 it was a bloody lot. We have a big team to get that many done though. We have found that if you bale too fast you end up with scruffy uneven bales. Slow and steady seems to work best 👌
@@FourWindsFarm I was trying to work out how many you have now…8?10? People. Yeah definitely slow and steady makes lovely bales… but the last swath of the year you need to see what it can do even if it’s cow fodder lol
Love the videos, the baler side-by-side will certainly be interesting, wonder if the 1842 can run faster than the 1840? Cracking video again, is Hazel getting any run outs on the tractors this harvest?
Cheers Jon 👍 there is plenty of footage to come of the balers working alongside one another. The kids break up from school this Friday, so Hazel will be looking after them, but maybe we can get her on a tractor at some point
It’s a pity the Arcusan doesn’t have an accumulator on the back so you can drop of 2 packs together saves a lot of running around with the Telehandler.
Great video Matt, how many layers of plastic you put down on the floor of the hay barn to put the hay on and does it keep all the moisture out,and wondering were you got the ,I believe the Krone hat at,thanks again have a blessed evening
Greetings,Matt, this nice video reminds me of the knowledge you taught me when i visited.all the best.
Cheers 👍
Good watching! Can you consider doing some content covering them pto hay dryers and how you build the hay stack to work with them? Cheers
I will try and do something if I get time, it's just a tad manic when we get going 😂

Nice to see you guys doing haÿ and getting on with baling.
Cheers Ronald 👍 the weather has stopped play the last week or 2 but fingers crossed it comes good again soon so we can get cracking again!

That would be great and certainly would save a lot of running around, although the arcusin itself saves us so much time anyway

We only put 1 layer down and that usually does the trick 👍 the hay was brought online from the krone website 😉 cheers 👍
Bloody frustrating year for making hay
It really is!
