Surprisingly, a tiny amp that actually doesn't sound horrible. It actually sounds pretty decent, even at max volume!

In all positions of the knobs it sounds amazing,no bad sounds here.
Yea but guys remember it's got a mic in front going into a recording soft ware and it will always sound way different in person I got one and doesn't sound close to this even with my gibson lespaul slash sig
I mentioned before, a boss-sd1 and noise gate gives this Marshall incredible gain, you can also lift it up near your pick us to get feedback while recording with the headphones out into your DAW, and you don't get this with sims!!!!! try it
My uncle had one of these as a kid, and he would clip it onto his belt, and ride around on his skateboard and shred down the street

I have a Roland AC-33 acoustic guitar amp, and connecting the Marshall MS-4 to the Roland's right line output (i.e. not the "left/mono"), gives an awesome bluesy stereo sound, particularly with the "ambience" chorus and reverb effects. The AC-33 itself is super clean, and the MS-4 adds a distorted sound to it, and an even wider stereo field.
A mini stack is 2 1x10 cabs, that’s a stack for mice :)
Also surprisingly sounds usable for some noodling late night
I'm sold. In Australia it's only at $68 iand is only $20 more than the MS2. I remember back in the 80's when the original mini amps first came out a friend of mine bought one straight away. I was highly impressed with how it sounded through headphones, like a real Marshall. I gotta get me one of these.

+Matt The Riff Master I most certainly will. im actually waiting to buy a multi effect pedal. i have a Line 6 spider Amp. it helps me get certain tones. what would you reccomend in regards to multi effect pedals? id really like your point of view/reccomendations.

It’s a surprisingly good little amp for what it is…don’t expect it to sound like a $1000 boutique amp
I’ve had great fun hooking it up with a DOD FX52 for those Bleach style forays. I’m also happy with it for recording those deliberately lo-fi punk patisches

The MS-4 is not a bad little practice amp for bedroom practice.
I bought a second hand one, and I have to say I’m very happy with it, you can get some sweet tones out of it.

Yes. Its doing gr8 with my semi electric guitar.

For all who are wandering, I own this amp and it is actually a really great one. I own a strat and this amp and its amazing how many tones I can get by the combination of two. Tonnes of tweaking is possible just by fiddling with the tone and gain knobs on the amp alone, and when i combine this with the strat, that is two more tone knobs and a volume knob which is more of a gain knob, let alone the 5 pickup selections... Lol

Don't know about the accordion but acoustic, sure thing... Of course, this isn't made for jamming with a full band or something. Not loud enough. But with an acoustic? Hell yeah.

I had the half stack version of this mini Marshall over 20 years ago and it sounded good then. I forgot what ever happened to it. I kinda miss it actually. Anyhoo I know you're a rhythm guy and I am too but, that little bit of lead work sounds pretty sweet! Also, the track you play in thrashing around the house, did you record that with the black 120th Anniversary Flying V? If so, are the pickups original or did you swap them out? Thanks bro! Always stay awesome!

Hi there, I bought a brand new MS 4 but it’s very noisy as soon as I get it connected to my guitar with a constant buzz sound, is it normal or maybe it’s defective? Any tips?

I played the MS 2C and I was really impressed I'm Definetely gonna buy 2C or MS4,I see MS4 has not clean channel,so the 2C would be the logical choice.

my friends got one of these. It sort of distorts when i play on it in a bad way. I get that all of these portable ones wont sound great but i ordered a crush mini instead. Not a bad amp but after research, the crush mini is better. Its arriving tomorrow :p

I have a weakness for working miniature things. This is adorable. You sound good thru any amp tho.. Would a beginner be encouraged by what they get out of it??

+GnarMan 135 kind of... lol it has a metal clip which allows the amp to tilt back but you can also attach it to your belt

You should check out the Blackstar fly that is a much better mini amp with REAL tone

you will be shocked to hear this little thing keep the Marshall tone and pump out high gain metal in professional recordings using a boss sd-1 to a boss ns-2 noise suppressor! try it...its like a baby Marshall 12 lead
I bought this thing and yeah, it’s a practice amp, but I still hate it. The shape is impractical, you can’t play bass through it, and the only way I can get a totally clean sound is with volume halved and gain at 0, and at that point it gets quite difficult to hear. Compared to the black star miniamp, is smaller, better control, can play bass on it, and 3 watts? Far better, I’m returning the marshalll

i just bought on on e-bay nice gain and im an metal head but ill definetly call it cute i plugged it in to my strat and call myself awful hendrix plus not so loud you blow out yer windows not a toy its a real amp and cool marshall thinks of beginners. nothing but rave reviews.
