Nice. But why do you use those "U bends" to connect the L's together? Since this supports up to 40A, isn't it wise to use a 40A circuit breaker? Thanks
Great video as always. One question though. How did you manage to get the status feedback on the push buttons? Any details on wiring and type/model of the buttons? Keep on the good work!
Thanks for the video. I would like to know if it is possible to turn on the lamp through the app and turn it off by the switch. Or turn on the switch and turn off by the app. Could you give me this information please? Thanks.
This Shelly also has a LAN socket. But I think it's dangerous to use shielded LAN cables here. The shielding is exposed at the connector. If a hot cable comes into contact there, the shielded cable becomes a hazard.
Hello and thank you for the video, can you please let me know more information about the switches used in this video? Do you have any link for that device? Thank you
Can access point work as a way to connect all other shelly devices to shelly's 4pm network and then connect only this to my home wifi network? For example instead of having multiple ips for shelly devices in home network to have only one.
Great demo, have you tried Wifi1 & Wifi2 behavior ? Would Wifi1 failover to Wifi2 in case of network problems and failback once connection is restored ? Have you also tested LAN connection and if yes would Shelly device use it as preferred connection even if Wifi interfaces are configured ?
Hi re the housing in your video above the DIN mounting bar are these mountings for the various shelly modules i.e. shelly 1, dimmer 2 etc, could you tell me where i could purchase this mounting box Great video by the way really useful Regards George
The mountings above din rail are not for Shelly. These are for ground and neutral. The only Shelly used in this video is 4PM pro which is for din rail mount.
Hi there, I was wondering if the manual switches work regardless? For me, when I turn off the light / line using the Shelly app (the relay), I need to turn the manual switch on and off again for it to work. Have I was wondering if I am doing something wrong? Help.
There is some dirty trick here... when I do wiring as per Shelly schema I have situation like others here - when I turn the light off from Shelly, then manual switch need to be turn off and on. I tried with this 'click' switch (don't know the name) and rest was more less the same. I tried for very long time understand the wiring from this movie but all the time is moving and I don't fully get it. Can you please explain precisely the wiring or give the schema? Pretty Please :)

That's not true at all! The beauty of this device is that it doesn't require the cloud or the app in order to work. It has a Web Interface that you can access it locally and there you can make all the settings and the automations.
@@PoseidwnTech hahha you access it manually with on Off... what is this...is some kind of low budget gadget? If you mean to send locally http commands to control the device then yes you can. If you want to create automations through the Web Interface locally then again you can. I don't understand what you really want to do? Also their cloud is free!

Good video. The pronunciation is "Šelly", but it doesn't matter. Excellent content.
Cam You sens me please a wiring diagram in how to wire push buton on this device..and why IT needs neutral in switch?

Nice work...verry useful...keep it on with other sketches and more, more applications...I wish you all the best

No this is not supported.
What is the maximum duration in the auto off or auto on timer
Can you point me out to the vendor of the demo cabinet, plz?
The cabinet is from ABB.

Do you know if can I connect neutral to switch Shelly port instead of line?

I'm wondering why not have low voltage inputs where you just connect a push button. Much more usefull than 220v inputs..
Is there someplace that I can purchase the DIN rail demo box?
It’s a small fuse board .. available in most wholesalers
