hey Colin thanks for the training videos would you say that doing calisthenics exercises can have the same effects as doing cardio (running) in terms of raising your body's metabolism? thanks for inspirations
Danm, I've never seen Parkour moves like that... Well... Ever... A Natural... Running Away from the AI Robots was a scene that could rival the entire movie Age of Ultron.
@@colinmurrayYT good cause your actually real and don’t got a fake personality like all these other fitness dudes. I’ve learned a lot from you bro and also you said you can’t do the planche cause your tall. There’s many tall guys that can do it just keep practicing you got it bro
someone's been watching naruto again :P....u sure you feelin ok colin? 3 videos in less than a week! no qq just sayin. stay safe mate. never really seen a 6'3 person do parkour before...side note, your such a nerd lol but in a cool way :P
YES! I’m so happy to see you’re doing parkour, it’s one of the most overshadowed sports and deserves more recognition. Also the body weight maneuvering strength from calisthenics makes for a great starting point
You don't seem to have a height issue, you should try bouldering/in door climbing of some description, your new GoPro would get some great footage and it's a welcome place to record.
Have never heard of what you are doing Colin.. we thought it strange there were no people around.. like a movie set.. Best scene was the one in the movie you made.. that was amazing.. so high.. and what views you got with the go pro.. Glad you got through this alive.. One question.. do you have people there to help if you get hurt? Actually this was kinda scary.. have to say would not feel comfortable with my boys doing that.. Actually this was very much like playing a video game… 💜💙🤗
i love your videos man, they just feel super authentic. you should do a video on the difference between body building training, and athletic type training
6:11 This is probably the reason why people think parkour is stupid and cringe... people that "do" parkour don't just run around and do and try to jump over whatever they see... 🤣Normally you go to a place (park, parkour park, roof gap, some type of area where there's walls, rails ect.) and you look for challenges. It can be as simple as a single PRE (precision jump) literally form one wall/ledge to another, or a stride or a plyo jump (plyometric jump, so you take off from both feet and land with both feet), or as simple as a single vault... All of those longer form videos you see where they are anywhere between 5 seconds up to 1-2 minutes are all pre planned and pre practice to be able to get them in one go. Usually you get to a spot, you plan your line (route), and you execute it either in one go, or you chop it up into sections and you practice them one at a time first before trying the line in one go. Here's an example of it: this are Storror currently the biggest parkour team/group on UA-cam, they just recently actually hit 10 mil subs, they are a group of elite parkour athlete's who've been on UA-cam since like 2010 and during that time they've been in many movies like6 Underground with Ryan Reynolds and a couple of their own feature films like Roof culture and Roof Culture Asia (the clip on the skyscrapers in the beginning of this video) Here's a couple of video of some of their typical training sessions where they just look for challenges: ua-cam.com/video/HRhF5F3SXOM/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/qkVqCbOkIlM/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/t80v4ATFSK0/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/qkVqCbOkIlM/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/3C44FKPNTwg/v-deo.html Or if you're not really fans of parkour but you think it might be interesting, this is the first thing i recommend, its the same guys but the challenges they do are above water, the videos are incredibly addicting and i guaranteed you'll love them: ua-cam.com/video/zdl3yUaJ25o/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/UlyyGBnehQg/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/lerd-jnPXvU/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/fYH8NEIz-6M/v-deo.html Enjoy.
4:48 the guys "Storror" that do those sick POV parkour videos actually have the GoPro's in their mouths, there's little attachments you can buy that you can just bite on and it'll hold the go pro in place, not only does it look more natural on the video but the stability and just sturdiness in next level, having it just wrapped around your forehead isn't that safe.
to help lessen the self-consciousness of doing parkour, do it with a couple of friends! if youre having fun with people you like, you wont be so concerned about what other people may be thinking about you
Thanks for trying out sport! always cool to see a newbies perspective on it, and to see how people go about doing it when trying it for the first time outside. FYI, the Wikipedia definition of parkour is super outdated with the whole "going from A to B as efficiently as possible" thing. It's more like any other action sport where the goal is kinda just to do the coolest thing with your own body, and the obstacles around you. Just without a vehicle like most action sports have :)
The fact this video got uploaded means the building jump worked and you are still alive :)
Unfortunately Mr. Murray is no longer with us. He hired me to upload incase of his untimely demise. RIP Colin 🕊

Appreciate you!🙏
love watching people learn parkour❤
Great video! I would love to see you do this with a parkour veteran maybe some parkour youtuber, keep it up my man!
Thanks and I like the idea I'll have to reach out to some people!
Haha you are always up for anything!
lol always!
As a man of short stature, I'm jealous of your jump height.
you should go bouldering next video if you haven't already
The training arc video gave me The Office vibes so I almost spit out my juice at 0:50
😂
I'm from Brazil and your videos are totally amazing
It must have been comparatively easier because of your past calisthenics experience
I feel like that so much "wow I'm actually like... a person."
Dude actually committed and bought a gopro and flew across the Taj Mahal
hey Colin thanks for the training videos

mint is a word people say, and just like your humor, it's more of a British thing
This was so great…. My face hurts from smiling

Interesting Colin 🤟🤟
Social anxiety is scared of this guy
I'm guessing that the guys who do this professionally are not 6'3"
Try skateboarding

Do MMA!
Natural pro parkour guy!
The "famous parkour guy" is David Belle :p
Find people who train for American Ninja Warrior. You'd be great at that, and it's safer!
TOP
I'm glad to see you were able to push the boundaries of stuff.
hunk ❤😊
Try going to a kickboxing or muay thai gym

Try chestmount. I think it would improve the angle AND it's less obvious
LMAO, didn't expect that NoOõoôO0oOõo0.... 😂😂
since you are very strong and can do a pull up its more gymnastics than parkour but you kknow still good
OK, I love your videos. Wasn't sure at first, But now I do.
try jumproping im trying it and i can barely do it
I could try tbh I can barely do it either lol why is it surprisingly hard😂
Glass blowing? Glad you didn’t jump off a roof. Was a little concerned

3:26 Just like school systems teaching some stuff that won't do you any good in the real world.
This was more Car Park Hour than Parkour 😂. Stick with you though and protect your knees.
gorgeous man ginger ❤
My sign to get back into it because i used to do it when i was 13 doing flips and stuff (best hobbie i can remember, dont know why i stopped)
7:26. wait... what?
how did you leap from one ledge to the one above it without legs?
Do a video eating a whole week at kwik trip. The girls who run their social media will definitely promote you
Man I didn't realise your height until you did the first-person view - you must get altitude sickness 😅
bouldering
Oh shit, I started doing parkour a few months again thanks to the calisthenics motivation gained from your vids! You did a great job, my dude!
ahahaha good video! if u have any questions about parkour let me know
Try skating, because you remembered Tony Hawk
Maybe you should audition to play Spiderman
Odd question but what shoes do you like to use for cardio and running and stuff?

Hey colin just wanted to say good for you to get out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself. Keep up the great work❤
Try to preform a heart surgery. Might take some practice but i think u got time 👍
That last jump was incredible 😂
Goofy ahh video...but funny ngl 😂
If you don’t already know how, definitely try rollerblading or skateboarding!!
try learning a sport, foorball or volleyball⚽🏐
maybe try bouldering for a video its actually really fun
Like just cause the production of last clip
0:26 David Belle is still known (watch District 13 movie)
New video idea: Arm wrestling
you should try to get on a David Alvareeezy video
I dare you to learn to backflip! 😏
This video is so freakin wholesome
Love your deadpan gags.
Flannel does make you look cooler.
15 minutes pro now yesss
I like you. Your Silly
What car do you drive bro

I went to school for it for a year not for me but I got mad respect for it

More parkour
I wonder if you would like mountain biking
I’ve seen some videos it look epic I’m might have to give it a try
love it
спасибо за видео
Reminds me of Kyle Crane from Dying Light 1. Such an excellent game that shows you how you can utilise parkour to survive the zombies.
Dom Tomato
cool vid😂
What about trying wrestling moves like a Moonsault, German suplex, or octopus stretch or etc.. anywho love the videos fam
I can't believe you made that last jump, Colin. Also the GoPro footage looked really good.
Nervous parkour is the best parkour.
Also, going from being nervous to record in public to going out with a camera on your head - well done! Character growth.
All I can say is just be careful man, given your size there’s more weight and hight to push through. 😅
😂😂
maybe try out rock climbing if you are looking for sports that pair well with calisthenics
