Key elements of the gospel are:
- a person has transgressed the law
- they are under God’s judgement
- they need to turn from their sin, repent, and place their trust in Christ
- a person is then regenerated, and then grows in sanctification, where they are called to take up their cross and follow him.
A person won’t understand the grace of God until they understand the magnitude of their sins, and the implications of them!
