Military clips were made so that you can clip the pen in a breast pocket that has a flap. Most military uniforms have such flaps. Hence, the name military clip. I enjoyed the video. Especially the bantering. Thanks for the smiles. Be well
I’m glad Steph is there to provide some temperament to the Video. Military Clips on early Sheaffers are fine, in Uniform I preferred the later Sheaffer Tucky Clip. Will the follow up Video be - Steph’s under $100 Pens? That’s what I want to see!
Eric’s Top 5 Under $100 (that he carries and is having difficulty shifting!) He’s such a wag! I would love a Rolex for $100 and I’m sure the Chinese are on the case. I prefer modernist aluminium and classic designs and, apart from the Lamy Aion, I would choose Stilform, the Good Blue, Laban Menlo and Narwhal.
Cant find any elocuence there better use a robot. All seems to be forced specially the lady that can not believe any she comment or say, with all due respect of course. Guess your clients is the kind of vídeos they like … or not
Great video and I like your choices. The Pilot Prera is a great writer (like all Pilots) and I enjoy both the TWSBI Diamond 580 and the Diamond Mini. I would love to add the Faber-Castell Ambition, which writes like a charm, but it's one dollar over your limit in some colors. 😥 Maybe the Essentio? I haven't tried it, but I like the steel Faber-Castell nibs s lot.
Everyone that liked the pilot prera should try the sailor lecoule. I haven't tried the prera but I love my lecoule and I think they should be similar. But the prera is so more well known. Give the lecoule a chance! :)
If I had to pick one from among Eric’s top 5 choices here , it would definitely be the Lamy Aion. I love the pen a lot. I have both the Olive Silver (F) and the Dark Green(M). My own top 5 in this specific price bracket would be: (in random order) Lamy Aion Twsbi Diamond Mini Aurora Style (most models are priced $84-$100). A very few are $105-$108. So, I think it should qualify. Ensso Italia Copper ($95) Kaweco AL Sport Raw Edit: I really like the Sheaffer Icon, except the nib. It is a big let down. Also, I think the Icon is actually more reminiscent in design, shape, silhouette and all round aesthetics to the Sheaffer PFM/Legacy pens than an Aurora 88.

Top 5 between 50 and 100 EUR (which is similar to 50-100 USD) would probably be (in no particular order 😉): - Pelikan M200 (because there is nothing better than a Pelikan) - Waterman Expert (because this is my workhorse for 40 years now) - TWSBI Diamond 580 AL-R (because it is a perfect fountain pen - and yes, Steph, the diamond facets are magic...) - Gravitas Pocket Fountain Pen - Raw Brass Skull (because it is unique, heavy, the raw brass ages with time and the skull design is great) - Platinum Procyon Maki-e (because it is a beautiful Japanese design - of course it is not real Maki-e but I like it) I own all of them, they are all inked now and are used extensively. Many greetings to Appleton, Wisconsin, to Steph, Eric, Brian and Lisa and the whole team of Anderson Pens - whenever I will have the chance to visit one of your stores I will not leave until I have purchased at least a 20ft container full of pens (including the Emperor...) 🤣

I agree that the Platinum Procyon is a great pen in this price range, whether you go with the Maki-e or not. Highly underrated.
There's a weird discord between these two presenters. Perhaps, not good chemistry. Eric keeps talking over the other female co-host Steph.
Males tend to do that with other females unfortunately 😢
