- The Blackbucks are one of the most beautiful antelopes in the world. Once they were in Lakhs in India but now they are just in thousands. The Blackbuck National Park in Velavadar is one of the last remaining sanctuaries for this enchanting antelope. We had the opportunity to visit this park and see these beautiful creatures. They were once hunted for their elegant horns but now their primary threat is habitat destruction. Blackbuck is the state animal of Andhrapradesh, Haryana and Punjab.

it is not true that population in BLACKBUCK NATIONAL PARK is decreasing..
it was at worst situation in 1965,but later it continuously increasing.there are more death in natural calamities but over all population is increasing .habitat is shrinking and it will affect later.
