_As I understand this~~>:_ Inspiration can be held from session to session & a character is only able to retain one at a time, but can receive multiple inspirations per game. If a character is holding an Inspiration point & yet does "a thing", before expending that Inspiration, that would normally garner an Inspiration point, could that then be the value of a Hero point? This being the beginning of Hero point carryovers? Only doubled Inspirations could become carryover Hero points. The Hero point gained during play for a heroic activity would still need to be used during that same session.
Gritty realism "this method sounds absolutely insane". Wow. To me all the 5ez healing sounds insane. I took an arrow (or six) to the knee and a battle ax to the head, reducing me to 1 hit point, but after a good nights rest Im totally healed. IT'S A MIRACLE? What? This happens every night? That is supposed to be the "not insane" rule? Honestly, even "gritty realism" IS insanely generous in a medieval setting (assuming no magical healing) bc other versions of healing basically would ensure you lost a limb at least after every fight and might never heal completely. I prefer MUCH grittier realism where you only gain (absent magic) a hit point or two per night. Have any of you actually BEEN injured? I don't mean a knife fight or a baseball bat to the head, just a bad ankle or knee injury, maybe a cut. Did it heal overnight?
Interesting
I hadn’t heard these from the DMG

Yeah, I could see that being a fun rule to use.
I like the spell points. I don’t know if foundry has a mod to incorporate that.
It does but I've been having some issues getting it to work recently.
There was also a mod called spell points. It hasn't been updated in a while so not sure how well it works.
I think it broke with v11 :(
Spell points ARE KINGS!!!
Haha, are they?
