I have a Cuttermaster T&C grinder and it looks just like this except the bottom of the X slide is solid whereas this one is on a rotating base for spherical grinding the ends of spherical end mills. The beauty of this type of design is that the cutter flute is always on a central level and the grinding head tilts to the primary and secondary angle etc.......mine has the air bearing spindle.
