I like the bathroom door. Sometimes Matt complains about stuff that other people love. I also like carpet in the storage area...higher end and keeps it quieter
If the is an issue go to LL BEAN and get a water hog rug. They are amazing & come in every size imaginable.
just a correction on the Emergency Egress door- you don't need to jump as the bottom panel pops off and step ladder unfolds :)

It's a Sleep Number bed and there is a ladder built in to the bottom of the emergency egress door.
Just took our first trip in our new 3709 Ventana. The bed is a SleepNumber and so very comfortable! When your slides are in, trust me you will appreciate the 1/2 bath door. We love this floor plan and don’t find the shower too small. We do have a flip down seat in ours, which I love. Great review and beautiful rig.
The rear bathroom escape door, has a lower panel that's velcroed on, pull the tab, there is a ladder to assist your exit. The awnings looks like an afterthought.
Great Presentation! We agree with your likes and dislikes. Great entry level diesel pusher. Lot of counter space. Three larger refrigerator are available as options. There is a built in ladder in the emergency door. No jumping is required. The televator TV is standard feature. Not common. Oddly, you cannot order a power wheel for the 50 amp cord, and no option for Solar Panels. Best, Steve & Deb from Western Mass.
That....is by far....the BEST set up for watching t.v. with a lot of peeps! I have no idea why, but I always judge a layout by this: If you ant to watch "the game" and it starts dumping rain and you can't watch outside, then you need to have enough room for everyone to have a great view. This one has it. Newmar crushed it!
Thanks Matt and Andrea! Happy Mother's Day! I love the layout, but, I think the shower is such a bummer for it's size. Lose the half-bath and grow a shower fit for a human to turn around in and reach all those places that need washing.
We just sold our 2020 Kountry Star 3709 waiting for our 2021 Dutch Star 4369 to arrive at General Rv this June so we can get back on the road. Matt you can do a video on our 4369 when it arrives. I have to say the whirlpool fridge is better than the norcold rv fridge and the whirlpool gives you that small added pantry which is a plus. We found the half bath and shower to be perfect for my husband and I, however we are both slender in size. I absolutely loved everything about this coach but the fridge and lack of pantry in the 2020 model. It looks like they also finished the under kitchen sink cabinet in the 2021 model.
I would love to see the Newmar New Aire. Love the size and quality of that Class A.
That 1/2 bath door is necessary for the door to open with the slides in. It's an entry level coach, a Residential Fridge is an option. Shower is rather small but usable. The Air Mattress should always be somewhat deflated when traveling because going into mountains, a change in altitude = a change in pressure and a fully inflated mattress can expand and explode the seams
Love the colors, weird door in 1/2 bath. Price is good for what you get also. I like this one. Need some here in Georgia.
The 4 things I like about this motorhome:
1. passenger seat work station
2. the stove cover folds up out of the way and the amount of counter space when the TV is down
3. the half bath gets the 4 P's
4 the bed is accessible when the slid outs are in and there are opposing slide outs in the bedroom
The 4 things I don't like about this motorhome:
1. carpet
2. the half bath door
3. radius shower and the washer dryer over the toilet
4. small awning
I think there was no need for another wardrobe in the bathroom across the shower cubicle. Instead, there would have been more room for a larger, much comfortable shower. Also, the toilet door definitely needs better orientation. Looking at the blueprint of the layout and from when the slides are in, seems it is possible for a straight door parallel to the sides. Wish I could draw a plan and send it to you. Overall a nice motor home, nothing much to complain about it really :)
we have the same coach with theater recliner seats a dining booth --the half bath is wonderful when you are traveling down the road--so convenient--easy to handle while driving it
That is a residential fridge that is just a new modern design on it.
I'm really impressed with the quality of that ladder.
A Newmar Class A is what I have decided to go with, and I'm leaning toward the Kountry Star. This model Matt and Andrea are reviewing actually has some options/upgrades from the standard model, such as the dinette with chairs (standard model has a booth dinette). The mattress in this model is also an upgrade; it's a Sleep Number air mattress (Sleep Number mattresses are not standard). The carpet in the bedroom is also an option (not standard). Truma hot water, fireplace, central vac, W/D and convection microwave are also upgrades/options. For a Class A, this is an excellent price point for what you get not to mention it's hard to beat Newmar when it comes to a quality product.
Hey Matt & Andrea... that’s a quality coach. I agree with your 3&3 but would add... no power cord reel on a coach at this price point...ridiculous!
Living room couch should be two recliners. Refrigerator should be residential. Shower sucks and door into second bathroom is weird. Otherwise the rest of the coach is 👍
love the back splash. finally something new.
I would like an oven, leg rests on the couch and a bigger frig and shower. On the plus side is the large living area, the colors, back splash, nice rear bathroom. Wondering how the air bed works and comfort. Really like most of it!
I love the warm country feel the layout and lighter colors gave this unit. This would be an awesome full time RV.

1) The versatility of the dining table and the entertainment cabinet areas.
2) the huge awning and mini awning over the door
Dislikes
1) carpet in the garage areas, wish it was rubber mats or something else.
2) The 1/2 bath's door looks like a tight fit. I'm not a fan of Radius showers for the same reason.
3) would love to have a residential fridge

L: ext storage, wet bay (stainless); useable bed w/slide-in, kitchen and most appliances; slide controls over drivers seat not over stairwell, a lot in a relatively short RV. D: 1/2 bath door; smallish refrigerator; odd lift latches on side opening ext storage doors. Please stay safe. 😷😷😷😷

I like the 4037 floor plan better but still a nice motor home !
I think the same but the length and fireplace of the 3709 makes me want it more. Depends on whether you need the couch or the pretty TV area I guess.

And I watch all you reviews, and there are some really up to date, modern, beautiful motor homes out there, but I'm telling you the craftsmenship on this rig and reliability is unbelievable, they really were built to last👍💕
Enjoyed the video and review. Only thing I would add, it needs an electric cord reel.
Now I love the pegboard storage bay. What a great place to hang tools. You have to love Newmar Diesel Pushers. Very nice Wet Bay but no power cord reel for the shore power? What the heck.
I have a small suggestion with alot of these. I have posted it before that I like everything to be fully functional with the slides closed including access to a bathroom, use of bed and opening the refrigerator so it can be used while the slides are closed that being said. Maybe in future models to put the refrigerator where the sofa is, the table where the fridge is and the sofa in the middle. With the half bath put a pocket door. Now you can fully comfortably use the bathroom and you can comfortably use the refrigerator and everything else is still operational. It's just a suggestion because many of the floor layouts are very similar.
I agree, sometimes you can't put out the slides and being able to access kitchen, refrigerator, bath and bed can be a real challenge. Pocket doors are a great solution with a minimal sacrifice of space

There are a million drawers in that master bedroom and bathroom. I think the decor, especially in the bedroom is kinda royal, ya know with the king size bed and the design on the drawers and cabinet doors.
Sorry Matt, I wouldn't want to use the televator area for food prep, for fear of something getting spilled or dropped over there and ruining that beautiful TV. There is plenty of counter space without it.

No tower of power on counter? One of those storage bays maybe could have slideout cooktop & sink, maybe have fridge in place of half bath extra closets. A bifold door probably work better on half bath too; might bust a kneecap with how close that toilet is to opening. Tv in cab probably better on swing arm by dining table, as workstation monitor.
Like that roof A/Cs low profile units; the passenger seat lap desk; all the storage, inside and under. The wet bay decent also.

Newmar gives a VERY good quality rig with some great features for what I imagine you can get us for the low 200's. That's a GREAT value! It's only missing slide out pantry drawers
The med cab in the half bath opens in the wrong direction. Not fan of air matresses. Fridge is too small. Underpowered. The rest of the coach is great!! Great video you guys!!
The home was very nice, but as an "Entry Level" at over $300K, as nice as it looked, I don't think it is worth double the Entry Level Fleetwood you did in your recent comparison video, and in fact, I believe the Higher-end Fleetwood in the comparison video was lower-priced and nicer.
Either way, my wife and I are enjoying all the video walk-throughs and letting us see what we might expect or look for in a motorhome.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this RV! (but it only sleeps 3 or 4 - wish there was a BOC). Is that a fireplace under the televator???? LIKES: (1) the interior decor (everything!!!) (2) W/D (3) kitchen counter space DISLIKES: (1) the superfluous TV in the cab (2) carpet (3) door on the 1/2 bath. Matt and Andrea, I was sold on Class Cs until I saw this model!

I do not like the heater ducks in the floor, I do not like that their is not storage space behind the TV in the main bed room. For the price of this RV the power cord should be on an elect power real. I like the driver and passanger seat, I like the tel-a-vator TV. I also like you can still use the bed when the slides are in.
You know that egress door in the master bath has a ladder that deploys from the bottom half of that door.

Love the satelite dish standard. 350 hp on an entry level diesal and the interior layout. Would like to see a power reel for the electric cord, a regular oven and some accommodation for additional sleeping. Either convertible dinette or drop down bunk. Great Coach.

Just another correction, That world pool refrigerator is residential. IT'S just not a large residential refrigerator. We own a newmar canyon star and we have the same refrigerator which is a residential refrigerator.
I don't like that the pantry doesn't have pull out drawers and that the stove is only propane, there should be also a induction plate.
Love cabinet color/door style/kitchen, placement of TV, overall colors& design, 1 1/2 baths
Dislike: small fridge, shower, prefer dinette set over table & chairs while traveling, 1/2 bath door

Not fan of the Newmar product to many issues with them . Still a nice RV great video as always.

1. Half bath... too cluttered with all the cabinetry and that door is horrible. Prime pooping position or not it's very claustrophobic.
2. Radius shower with no seat
3. Carpet inside and out
Hi Matt , really like your video's , but what's with all the fraud charges about general rv changing the terms of the loans ? a friend who is looking to trade up his motorhome for a diesel pusher told me about me about general rv and the people who all had the same thing happen to their paper work , and I have been reading more and more about it on you tube .
I really like yours and Andrea's review s and feel you are honest people and would buy an rv from you, but sorry as more and more comes out I know we will never buy an rv from General rv. I cringed when you mentioned Utah. Wonder if there's a way you guys can start your own small place that is ethical and honest.

The bed is a sleep by numbers.
I think that is a Sleep Number Bed. Each side can be set to the firmness that person wants.
Dislikes:
#1 I the the emergency egress door but think about the age of people that may buy this. No emergency steps.
#2 Yo Newmar, Where's the power cord reel?
#3 No standard gas oven.
Likes:
#1 I like the living area and space. You had be at Televator.
#2 Great overall kitchen minus an oven.
#3 I really really liked the valances.

#1 That pivoting door to the bathroom. You can reconfigure that.
#2 For such a large rear bathroom why a radius shower? I would have made it a rectangular shower by removing the cabinetry.
#3 You could a drop down bunk over the cab especially with that emergency egress door in the back.

DISLIKES: 1. Dislike small shower, should have eliminated extra wardrobe and extended shower. 2. Dislike door to half bath, could have done accordion fold door. 3. Dislike rear mount diesel engine radiator, prefer side mount.
LIKES: 1. Love overall decor, one of the best I have observed in Newmar including high ends. 2. Love the floorplan, especially fireplace, personally would prefer Eurobooth rather than dinette. 3. Love the amount of storage (inside & out) especially for a smaller, entry level Diesel Pusher.

Dislike: The washer/dryer being next to toilet (This is the worst spot for them!), the shower is odd looking, and finally no reel for power cable.
Loves: The overall interior design (colors and layout), multiple screens for driver to see all info and the room that is available when the slides are in.
Have to ask, when are you going to have more stickers and stuff in store? We looked today to see what was there (wanted one of the ones with Andrea holding the puppy) but seems everything is sold out :(

The Canyon Star is the least expensive Newmar diesel. Newmar website shows starting msrp at $238,434 Please review one.

The awning looks like it was just a quick add on. For $300K it looks cheesy.
and it's pretty small, for the height of the unit... An additonal one on the sleeper would be nice. The one over the door a nice touch, though....
