Hi Susan!! Thank you for the question. I try not to paint the insides since I like to use for storage. I did try that a couple of years back. But I found it best to just paint and seal the outsides so that you cans tore anything you want inside. Thank you watching and for asking and please have a Happy Holiday season!🌹
