This is a fricken quality video. This dude gets it. Man. Another thing to consider is whether the methane can be used to operate a little refrigerator. I'd have to investigate

I revisited this video and was about to lambast this poster's cringe comment then I realized it was my own.

Wow.. Thanks for posting the video... That was awesome information.. I watched the video several weeks ago and missed 90% of what was in it.. After much research, hearing all of the wrong things, I was able to pick out everything I missed before.. I just about typed every sentence that was said in the video.. I really loved the shot of the Chipper at the end.. I had a hard time imagining how to make one that was a one shot deal, for a single run through the chipper.. I had a very similar idea, but, was having a problem deciding how to implement it.. Loading 45 degrees from the side was a simple way to solve the problem. But, I bet that is a pretty radical thing to operate.. Stand back and throw the limbs in it.. Definitely load it standing to the Left of the Chute.. Chances are, it is going to violently twist the limb clockwise as it enters.. Can't see how it would not, considering the thickness of the blades you would have to use.. I don't think bolting them in would be a good idea. You would have to weld them for security.. Guess you replace your cutting wheel after 5-10 years of sharpening them.
Thanks again.. I am going to build one of these some day when I get to my new shop..

I think I'm gonna give this a go in a small 5m3 pile for a pool heating system, what do you think? Should be pretty maintenance free for at least one summer.
