Mt grandfather passed a month ago. His ex wife took everything that was left to me. 2 weeks later I was in a terrible accident with my mother. 28 staples in my head and severely beat up. My mother has 8 broken ribs and sternum, both legs and a arm broke. 60mph collision. I immediately jumped out of the car after impact. My mother was screaming for God and was on deaths door way. Even though I was covered in blood and beat up God gave me the energy to get out and try to help my mother and stand beside her. I thought I was gonna lose my momma but for saved her. She is in a rehab facility now for physical therapy lesrninf to walk again. She took 22 steps yesterday. Her recovery is a miracle and I thank God for it
God is good, I pray for full recovery for you and your mother. God had his hands on both of you!

I'm kind of an overthinker, and I suffered from anxiety, (as some of you may know, it's impossible to live in the present moment with anxiety) and it sucked 'till I realized I need to let my father in charge of my mind, let him hold my heart instead of trying to control it myself (wich usually ended in disaster). And this is exactly what the Lord is doing in my life, this is all I have been feeling these days.
My friend, if you're feeling anxious or lonely or your head is just a mess, please know you're not alone, Christ is with you, and he knows how you're feeling, he knows how bad it hurts, but he wants you to learn to trust him, he wants you to discover how much he loves you. Be brave in him

Thank you! I am definitely an over thinker who battles with depression and chronic anxiety attacks. My beautiful family of four are grown. So often I missed those moments due to anxiety. I don’t want to miss a single moment with my husband of 27 years or our visits with our children.

But this is not new for me because I have since 2007 avoided my husband Daniel in the same house (I found out that he committed adultery and his abuse against me got worse) and plus a painful physical condition makes walking hurt, so the only places that I have gone to are my doctors appointments. I have NEVER been alone through my abusive marriage because The Lord Jesus HIMSELF has been WITH me and will NEVER leave me alone😊. Since Daniel was arrested in September of 2015 for forgery & theft against me, he claimed YET AGAIN that he “got right with The Lord Again”. I only trust The Lord, but definitely NEVER Daniel again, even now he has been caught in his lies several times, and then he gets angry at me for some reason. I know that The Lord WILL deal with Daniel in HIS own time, and I KNOW that The Lord is NOT to blame for Daniel’s CHOICES, Daniel alone IS RESPONSIBLE, and Daniel WILL give an account to The Lord. wado,ANN BENSON.

It was a reaction to the pain of my husband molesting my children I was a Christian and it was a reaction to so much pain it wasn't it wasn't a rejection of God it was a reaction to all the pain. I grew up in the foster care not knowing anything about God, until I got adapted at age 3 although they were very abusive parents even would go as far as molesting me and telling me I deserved it. The one thing I can truly say thanks to them for is teaching me about God, and know I've been bathised and born again and thanks to the glory of him I have a 2 month daughter who I can kno2 teach her about his ever lasting love and his word.
I recently watched the film, I Still Believe, the story about his first wife,amazing,on prime at the moment,makes his songs so real.

Prayers Needed for my family
Man, this reminds me of me and my father when he would take me out to Wendy's. We would eat, talk and laugh. I miss him so much. Been gone 11 years now. To remind him of those memories, his last meal came from me w a Wendy's chocolate frosty. It made him smile, and that was the last time he ever smiled down here on earth. I can't wait to get to heaven and see how beautiful his heavenly smile is. Heck, we dont know, maybe The Lord has chocolate frosty in heaven too. 😊

You'll never know how much this song meant to me right now. I have been struggling so hard with feeling like by the time I am able to enjoy doing things with my husband, our life will be pretty much over and it has filled me with so much sadness and also anger. Almost 8 years ago we adopted two of our grandkids that are both special needs because our daughter and her husband had them removed from their home and lost custody. My husband has a significant muscle disease that is progressing pretty fast right now so he is becoming much weaker and he is physically able to do less and less. We have not had a break just to have a "date" for over 8 years now as we live in a small area and as I said, the kids are both have challenges that makes it hard to have someone else care for them. I'm so exhausted and I'm also feeling so old. By the time they are ready to be out on their own we will be almost 68 years old. With my husband's disease progression, what will we be able to do together? How am I going to physically care for him as well as raise challenging kids in the meantime? I LOVE THEM!! They are no longer grandkids, they are our children and I wouldn't want it any other way, but when I heard "Oh Lord, keep me in the moment. Help me live with my eyes wide open 'cause I don't wanna miss what you have for me.... show me what matters. Throw away what I'm chasing after." I just started bawling. Praise God for knowing my heart and knowing what I needed to hear right now. I pray that He fills my heart with what HE sees that matters and the happiness and joy of each day now instead of worrying about the future.
I am so very young but I know you will make it through it. God will give you strength. If you are interested there is a radio station in the Dc, Md, Va area called wgts. If you are in the area I encourage you to listen to it in the car. This song is a warning that self ambition is not in the will of God. And Satan can redirect our attention to our desires instead of God's desire. Which equals, " missing what you have for me. " I heard this song several times on the radio and just yesterday I really listen to the lyrics. I'm about to miss what God has for me. Because I'm not living in the moment of what he wants me to focus and pray and live about and for. Like he said in the song life passes us, we get old. Family, grows up and moved on. Great song and video for those of us who have jobs, close, loving family members, nice homes, nice things, and find ourselves too busy “in the moment” juggling it all to enjoy any of it. Ironically…. or perhaps, not… Since God‘s ways are higher than ours…… The blessing of being truly alive and in the moment more often comes during times of great suffering and loss.
I have been suffering so deeply. It is affecting my life with my family at such a profound level. I have been bound by crippling anxiety for the majority of my life. Since Covid, I have all but completely stopped living. I had Covid Oct. 2020, was extremely blessed to recover with no major issues 🙏🏼 It was scary, but God got me through it. I fear getting it again, I fear my kids getting it when they start school in a few days. They will be in 7th and 10th grade. My husband is a grocery manager. Most days I struggle to leave my house... I am grasping at everything I can reach just to get through every day. Sleep is a welcome escape.
I heard this song today. At first I wasn't REALLY listening. I know the song.. but I was just singing the words... as we do. Then it grabbed me. I have to do this, for my kids. I don't know what's going to happen... but they need me to be present, and I'm not here even when I'm here.
