Oh I have harvested my rhubarb and remembering your recipes I am back for more. That last wine was amazing. Thank you.

I'm going to start my ruhbarb wine soon, right now have lilac wine and dandelion wines and a couple of meads going.
Going to add ginger, sounds great, your recipe. Have a great spring day.

What temperature is the water when you add it to the Rhubarb please?

I did mess up my measurements slightly but recently racked it into a demijohn. I have scummy bubble matter coming up through the airlock. Primary fermentation not complete?

Thank you for the video! You said you were adding 1tsp sugar every 2 days once in the DJ. For how long did you do this for please? Thanks in advance 😊

I too would like the answer I have been doing it now for last 2 weeks. I suppose it's till wine has cleared and stops fermenting 🤔

Hi . Iv always disliked rhubarb, think that’s from school pudding days many years ago. Does this have a strong rhubarb flavour without the ginger? I don’t grow rhubarb but I may buy some to try making a gallon. 👍

It does not have an overly strong rhubarb flavour - it's there and noticeable, but not strong. .. . 🍷

Happy Homestead many thanks. The only time iv had rhubarb and enjoyed it , not knowing it was rhubarb, was a rhubarb strawberry and vanilla custard sponge cake thingy. Might try a plane rhubarb first then have a play and see if I can recreate that desert in a wine. Well you never know. 🤔🤞
