I really love the fact that you also add the spanish translation: not only it makes the english easier to understand (since as an italian i can understand spanish a lil bit) but it also makes the lesson more interesting and more dynamic, and since spanish is one of the languages I'm looking forward to studying (after japanese smh) it really helps to be linking spanish to english. Thanks a lot for the lesson :D
Happy to hear that!! Cause q lot of people told me not to translate into Spanish, so I stopped doing it in my latest videos. Glad that there are people who like it. 😁
Thanks! A lot of people complained about my Spanish translation, but maybe I'll write it on the board at times. It's impossible to please everybody. One tiny correction: not only DOES it make English ... :)
It stands to reason that my English will take a turn for the better if I keep in the line with your tips. CAE is a double-edged sword as I have a vested interest in the title, but I would rather not take the exam tomorrow (nor ever) given the choice and the chance.
Does the phrase” my point of view is in line with yours” means I share the same opinion, we see eye to eye, I can’t agree with you more, to my mind, we are on the same page. Are all of them synonyms phrases or sentences?
Dear Kateryna, I'd be grateful if you would explain about AS THOUGH and AS IF. I have a problem with them. Should the second verb in this kind of sentences comply with the first one in case of describing unreal situation??!! For instance, in the following example: She dressed as though she had been a princess. As you know, when we are talkin about an unreal situation it is a rule to use past tense in the second part but the problem is where that I think we should go a tense before the tense of first verb? (Dressed: Past simple ~ Had been: Past Perfect). Am I right? I didn't see any related video here. Thanks for considering my question 🍃🌸🍃
Hi! You can use both as if or as though. For example, he talks as if he knew everything (he doesn't know everything) or they treat me as though I were/was their own daughter (I'm not their daughter). Hope that helps! 😁
English Bits blaaah I knew it!!! 😭I am a little confused with this topic. Thank you for replying. I am actually preparing myself for FCE B2 but I want to improve in every aspect and your videos have been helping me a lot.
I have a question: It is "where would you travel if you HAD the choice" or "where would you travel if you HAVE the choice"? Im' sorry I know it is a trivial question but I wanna know the difference.
@@englishbits Thanks a million! Your videos have been helping me a lot. I'm sharing your channel with everybody who is preparing for the test. You're incredible!
Wir brauchen Bananen 🍌- we need bananas. In German, there are 3 articles der/die und das. If you say pasta, they will understand you, however the German word is Nudeln. Your level must be very basic. I heard simple words. Never mind, are you going to learn German for real? I can help you. I have been living in Berlin since 2012. In two months down the road, I am having to resist the C1 German exam.
Hello! I leaned German for many years at school and then at a language school but I forgot it all. Right now I have too much on my plate to learn another language. Anyway thanks a lot for offering your help!! BTW, what's your name? 😁

Yes, that you share the same opinion, you agree. 😉
hi, could you give other examples of the expression there is a slim/faint/slight/remote change that.. but with a positive connotation?
Hi! There's still a slim chance that we can win.
Great video! Thank you!
Thank you, Laura! 😁

It stands to reason that whether I want to improve my English skills I have to watch your videos. It is a good example, isn’t it?
Hi Daniel! It's a good example. The only mistake is that in Conditions, you can only use if and not whether. 😉

If you HAD cause it's the second conditional. 😉
Can I use the last expression to finish an essay? Thank you and you're awesome!
Hello Caroline! I wouldn't use it in an essay as this expression is pretty informal. It's better to save it for your speaking exam. 😉

It is a pity they don’t include Chinese and Russian. These two difficult languages are hard to learn on my own.
Wow, I admire you for learning so many languages!! 🤯
