    I really love the fact that you also add the spanish translation: not only it makes the english easier to understand (since as an italian i can understand spanish a lil bit) but it also makes the lesson more interesting and more dynamic, and since spanish is one of the languages I'm looking forward to studying (after japanese smh) it really helps to be linking spanish to english. Thanks a lot for the lesson :D

      Happy to hear that!! Cause q lot of people told me not to translate into Spanish, so I stopped doing it in my latest videos. Glad that there are people who like it. 😁

      Thanks! A lot of people complained about my Spanish translation, but maybe I'll write it on the board at times. It's impossible to please everybody. One tiny correction: not only DOES it make English ... :)

    It stands to reason that my English will take a turn for the better if I keep in the line with your tips.
    CAE is a double-edged sword as I have a vested interest in the title, but I would rather not take the exam tomorrow (nor ever) given the choice and the chance.

    Does the phrase” my point of view is in line with yours” means I share the same opinion, we see eye to eye, I can’t agree with you more, to my mind, we are on the same page. Are all of them synonyms phrases or sentences?

    Dear Kateryna, I'd be grateful if you would explain about AS THOUGH and AS IF. I have a problem with them. Should the second verb in this kind of sentences comply with the first one in case of describing unreal situation??!! For instance, in the following example: She dressed as though she had been a princess. As you know, when we are talkin about an unreal situation it is a rule to use past tense in the second part but the problem is where that I think we should go a tense before the tense of first verb? (Dressed: Past simple ~ Had been: Past Perfect). Am I right? I didn't see any related video here. Thanks for considering my question 🍃🌸🍃

    • @englishbits
      @englishbits  5 років тому +1

      Hi! You can use both as if or as though. For example, he talks as if he knew everything (he doesn't know everything) or they treat me as though I were/was their own daughter (I'm not their daughter). Hope that helps! 😁

    Wir brauchen Bananen 🍌- we need bananas. In German, there are 3 articles der/die und das. If you say pasta, they will understand you, however the German word is Nudeln. Your level must be very basic. I heard simple words. Never mind,are you going to learn German for real? I can help you. I have been living in Berlin since 2012. In two months down the road, I am having to resist the C1 German exam.
