- This was a very frustrating week. Luckily everything (except my channel name) is back. I'm very fortunate I was able to get it back.

I guess I forgot to mention how it happened. The truth is I don't know. All I know is that they "recovered" my account. My theory is they used the flaws in SMS to dupe my phone or something? Or they bought some correlating information from one of the many security breaches on another platform I use. Who knows. Bummer for us all!
Jon, I really enjoyed this! It was really pleasant to just listen to you talk about your life and vent about this problem. I totally think you should do more occasional, simple life vlogs. If you're comfortable with them! I'd watch them all, it really put a smile on my face. glad you got your account back!

No bueno. That really sucks man but I'm glad you recovered the account. I'll suggest using an authenticator app whenever you can for logins and to recover passwords.
UA-cam has been recommending some odd channels to me as of late so I was about click not interested before realized it was Jon’s channel. I still get a pick me up from a lot of your vids so glad to see their back.

@jonsmiff I'm glad you're misfortunes turned into a Xmas Miracle!!!! I want you to know that over the years your content, be it on stream/your own channel/ or funhaus saved my life and no I'm not being over the top. You made me laugh when I was dying in a hospital bed, you Jacob and the gang gave me hope. You made me smile and all bc of your always hilarious jokes and videos but because you and the entire Funhaus team made me eel less lonely. Anyways, Happy Holidays to you, your loved ones and Team Funhaus. I'm so sorry you had to deal with all the that right before year end. but just know you gave an In recovery ex-dying/ clean and sober dude (8 years but you helped me from relapsing) and clinically depressed. I hear you in regard to having to really push through a lot of nonsense this year, only to be kneecapped the moment it feels like you stood back up. Eventually though, you're going to get to the point where you can no longer be knocked back down. Your content has gotten me through a lot, and this year especially felt like an entire ego-death and life really humbled me, I was almost homeless and had to move across state with nohting to my name, not even a car. I reflect on a lot of this as the year comes to an end. So I'm sending you all possible positivity that I can. I'm glad that this situation is largely over, i hope you can regain your subs soon, and I wish nothing but success and happiness for you Jon!
