Calpe really delivers on everything and it’s just such an amazing place, you’ll love it if you go, there is also a famous old town, but the rock just looked so much more of a personal challenge for me to walk up and explore some views…obviously Derren has no fear 🤣 But to be fair the views start rewarding you from the moment you start to climb it 😍

My heart was in my mouth when Derren came out of the cave!! 😮 jeez that was some height and some of the rails only had one bar across and the wood didn’t look that strong !! Derren was only supposed to go as far as the tunnel entrance....and not liking heights, or even watching people at heights, made it very difficult for me to edit that bit 😱 How about a Tag watch as well, sure they had some of them for a bargain 10 Euros as well 🤣

Some of the best sunrises and sunsets we have seen honestly 😊 I am not great with heights but managed to go up far enough before my anxiety took over…Derren is usually fine, but the path even got a little sketchy for him 😱 But such incredible views you get from the moment you start to climb 😍

The sunrises and sunsets are just the best skies we have ever seen over here…totally beautiful and breathtaking. We got told about Calpe a long time ago, so it’s been on our list quite a while and boy it doesn’t disappoint, there is also a stunning old town to explore apart from the rock. I didn’t even get as far as the tunnel, there was one edge that I just couldn’t get past through my fear of heights and left Derren to ‘only go as far as the tunnel’ should have known he would go through…but luckily he realised he had gone far enough, and yes it was an absolute nightmare to edit 🤣🤣
The sangria was a well refreshing and enjoyable moment of appreciation….we couldn’t have thought where better else and after such a thrilling day, where to say thank you so much 😊 😍❤️xx

Lovely sunset. The tunnel looked OK to me, just a bit of an uphill slope from the footage, but I wouldn't have walked around there on that dodgy path either. Karl said he would have but he's bloody barmy! Derren, you did really well getting as far as you did. Happy new year both. And your subs and views are growing. Well done both of you.👍😁

I was horrified Derren went on through the tunnel...but luckily I didn't know he was going to do that, although I did think he had been gone a while 🤣😱 The bit I stopped at was high enough, and was too close to the edge for my nerves, I would have had a melt down if it had been anything like what Derren did 😱

Derren…was only supposed to go as far as the tunnel entrance…but thankfully his brain kicked in and he turned back! It’s not a walk you should do alone at this quiet time of year, purely for personal safety.

Derren would have loved to have gone all the way up but he reached one point and really didn’t fancy it on his own, so turned back. You never know one day I may conquer this fear…doubt it but 😜🤣

There are three places on that particular coastline that we really wanted to visit, Calpe, Denia and Altea…all surpassed our expectations. That stretch is amazing to explore and you won’t be disappointed 👍😍

Honestly to be near 1000 subscribers is so absolutely utterly amazing…out of this world surreal. We are so much in our happy place right now hence we are still in the Costa Blanca in the warm sunshine…I would just stay in this area permanently if I could and just move up and down this coast, it’s totally beautiful😍xx

Wow that walk up looked amazing! - on our list now but not sure we could go as far as you - well done! 😀 Hope you pass near to La Manga it's beautiful- seas on both sides all the way around down to the new harbour and a great campsite ' camping and caravanning la Manga' not too far away

We had an absolutely fabulous Christmas...very strange and very different in the sunshine, but definately an experience that we wouldn't change...how did you find it? It was weird buying a Christmas t-shirt this year instead of a Christmas jumper 🤣

Awhh Calpe, had such a lovely girls cycling weekend there and Mark and I stopped on the sea front for lunch when we cycled up from Benidorm once (his Dad lived there!). Beautiful sunrise 😍 We didn’t get to explore “Jock the Rock” but it looked like great fun - did think for one minute that you had to go on your hands and knees through the cave! The views were spectacular, definitely worth Derren continuing but did agree it looked a big dodgy after! Another great video guys, hope you had a fab Christmas xx
This was another great location, there is so much to do there, and we missed loads but had to move due to it being full from Christmas Eve until 8th Jan…definitely would go back there and would love to see Altea as well (missed it as we couldn’t find a site here with availability). So if you go around Christmas time to 3 Kings…make sure you at least have bookings in advance 👍

@@TheBabblingBrookes We stopped at Altea when we cycled back, twice, for ice cream and because it was so lovely we got the bus from Benidorm for two evenings out as so much nicer. I remember us having a few too many drinks and then in our best Spanish trying to find the bus stop in a bit of a panic as we thought we’d missed the last bus back 😂 We always said we would go back there one day for a cycling holiday with our friends 🥰
