    Awesome work! I would like to build it, but have never get in touch with a raspberry pi. Are there any "how to setup the raspberry pi" beginner videos, regarding this projekt, which you could recommend?

    I love this. No reason why this can't be used behind several different surfaces, right? Mirror included?

      @makeTVee  4 роки тому

      Yes, it also works behind other surfaces, but I am not sure if it will work with a mirror. Should be tested... ;-)

    This is really great! Can you give a little more information on the wood you used? Was it a basic pine veneer that you found at the local hardware store? Did you follow any tutorials?

    • @makeTVee

      Thank you, you will find all information about the veneer in Step 10 of my Instructable: www.instructables.com/id/Wooden-LED-Gaming-Display-Powered-by-Raspberry-Pi-/
      The veneer has to be very thin, so I never saw anything similar in a hardware store. But maybe it exists. I made my own tutorial ;-) Everything was designed from the scratch.

    I've seen this video Multiple Times in a row like a fascinated kid 🤣🤣 of 40+ .
    Will see if I can find the BoM safely somewhere during this corona times.But sooner or later I would certainly attempt to make it.🤞🤞🤞🤞

    What is PI stand for? Because I need to know the whole definition of PI-LED Technology. Thanks

      It's a Raspberry Pi, check en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raspberry_Pi for more details.

      @@makeTVee Thanks a lot for your kind reply, it's that PI as separate letters doesn't refer to any word or term

    Wow. Amazing project. Would it be possible to make the led matrix larger?

    • @makeTVee
      @makeTVee  4 роки тому

      Thank you! Yes, it's possible, the veneer is available in 1000x700mm so something around 30x20 pixels should be possible using just one sheet.

    Awesome job. I have a question; will a game like space invaders work on a setup like this?

    • @makeTVee
      @makeTVee  4 роки тому +1

      Thank you! I think space invaders would be pretty hard because of the width of only 10 pixels. But something similar with a slightly changed gameplay would be possible.
