G'day!
I'm Jess Van Den - a former school teacher and science communicator - and I've wanted to make a living online since 1998. But it took me another decade to figure out how...
I started my craft business Epheriell.com as a hobby in 2008 - and in 2010 I went full-time.
I've been 100% self-employed ever since.
In 2013 I also started createandthrive.com to help other makers turn their handmade hobby into a thriving business via a blog, podcast, courses, membership community + more.
I also love learning & sharing more about health, happiness, plants, and how to be more effective as a work-from-home, full-time self-employed creative - so I have all the time I need to do all the things I love.

Great video as always! Another thing I’ve heard about from people trying to do consignment is stories about their jewelry getting stolen from the shop and the managers taken no ownership of the lost merchandise. Or the shop will shut down before the people had a chance to collect their pieces. 😢
Yep, those are definitely risks too, great points!
Mate I'm gunna enjoy this channel. You're awesome! Thanks for the link too.
Welcome aboard!
Enjoyed your helpful vlog, thank you. How or where does one get a consignment agreement made so they can sell their jewellery in stores? What's involved? Can one get a free one arranged or do they need to pay a lawyer for one?
Very helpful video. Just started a custom hat company, having interests from different fashion shops. Would I be able to work out wholesale and/or consignment deals with several shops? Or is it normally exclusive to one? Literally just got my foot in the door in the industry. Kind of stumbled on this opportunity. Quickly learning the ropes. Thanks
another great video !! Thank you
just wondering,
is there a video in which you talk about how to find and contact business for wholesale ?
That's coming up in the next few weeks! :D
Thanks again! I'm wondering if you have any resources for preparing to sell at a craft fair? I've always wondered about that venue.
If you have a poke around on my website - www.createandthrive.com - I have a few blog posts and podcasts about this topic!
