RICHARD MUSGRAVE-EVANS I appreciate your quick response, I’ll check it out. The size of your artworks is magnificent and seems like you dominate it perfectly. Take care maestro and looking forward to seeing your new video 👍
Love this, I lived the first 25 years of my life, 100 metres from The beach, at the end of the street. Watching this, I could smell the salt air , and feel the sting on the sand on sunburn. Thank you…✔️✔️❤️
Wow that's really a great painting.. captured the mood brilliantly. has given me confidence to tackle the local beaches here in NZ, but the breeze could be a challenge. Hope you had time to put a fishing line in after your hard work.. Thanks again for sharing your talent. Bill
I look at this time and time again.. Every time i see a little bit more and slowly learn just another little bit more as well. Your a master and so cool sharing your talent. Thanks again for being so generous. Bill
Hi Richard, Beautiful sunny day at the beach with the only sound of the waves that seem to be punctuated by the gestures of the painter Conductor applying here and there, spots of color. 😀👍🎨
A beautiful painting, Richard you are the Master of the loose effect with the palette knife. Not many painters can harmonize a painting with a knife like you. A model would also fit into that painting. I reminds me of a Condor painting a touch. Happy Painting Mate 🎨🙏
@@richardmusgrave-evans No worries Richard. Yeah me 2 plus Gruner, Streeton, Withers,McCubbin and Roberts. All brilliant Aussie artist's. Cheers Mate 🎨
Beaches are very powerful places to me, off the Florida east coast those waves are like thunder, we slept in our van amongst the Palmetto, the beach was covered in bits and pieces of shell broken and whole shell all very colorful, it was amazing for this bayou girl, never had seen anything like it. You handled up for this beautiful , amazing beach. It looks pristine and yes it is a lovely day for a beach adventure.
31:34 Wow! What brave and confident strokes!!! The painting was looking terrific up to that point so it took guts to go over parts of it with thick paint like that. And, of course, you turned a terrific painting into an even better one. I am in awe. Your boldness is most inspiring.
Mr. Richard, I know these videos take a long time to make, travel, carrying supplies, and editing. Thank's for the good content. Plus, wonderful painting.
I can't believe there's nobody on that beach! I SO would be! Like, every day, all day. Man, I miss the Great Lakes, in Canada, where I grew up and saw/heard waves like that every time we went to the Lake. We don't really have anything like that here in Colorado. Nice painting, as always :)
@@richardmusgrave-evans over the years have seen some of your work at Quorn and always been an admirer of your style and ability to capture the colours of the outback.
Great work Richard, love the videos mate. Very impressive work. As fellow artist your videos make me want to come and paint Australia. I wish you lots of success. Kind regards sean
Hy Richard do you use any primer (what kind) on your canvases and what kind of caves do you prefer for your masterpiece paintings! I am admiring your work like that driver passing by 4d tims and a pilot living bunch of clouds for you to work on!
Yes I do, Irwin! An acrylic gesso primer. I paint on stretch canvas, or Belgian linen. With the linen, I like to use a clear acrylic primer, so the natural colour of the linen shows!
1.beautiful painting. 2. Professional video! I love the way you add b-roll. It illustrates your words. 3. Your set up is fantastic: love that trailer! Is there a bed in there? (Ie can you use it as a camper?) Look forward to your next one.
Glad you enjoyed it Shirley! The trailer used to be a camper and I shelled it and re-built as a mobile studio! So there is no bed in there. In the next video that I release, you will see how I camp and sleep!!! Cheers and stay tuned :)
I’ve never painted with a palette knife before. I was going to order one but I don’t know how the sizing runs. I guess I could just order a couple unless you can recommend a size. I normally paint large
Richard could you share a thought on your color accuity how much of your ability is genetic and how much training and experience. I will be watching, thanks Deborah
Just discovered your series and subscribed. Love everything about it from your personality, explanations and the wonderful locations you choose. One question How and where do you buy your paint? You have huge piles on your palette. I can't even find a tube 1/10th that size.

One question...why do you put out so freakin' much paint on your palette??? You've got enough there to paint a barn!
Stops you being stingy with paint! Any leftover is put back in the tin before it has a chance to dry.
Richard, could i interview you for my channel? thanks , cheers
On the Pacific side of the ocean, we are not allowed to park on the beach. I did not want to paint there because of that.
I guess there are different rules about that sort of suff Dyana wherever you go! Cheers:)
