I’d like to see a whole section up there master planned and developed. Perhaps that is what Habitat will bring. Even though there has been a lot of building in the past few years, things are still too scattered, and there is no real infrastructure in the area. With that being said, it’s still been fun watching the progress. My husband and I have two lots in GBE…bought them when you could get land up there for $10k a lot. We will still continue to hold and watch, but we decided to buy more land in the Cayo area and build a house there in 6-7 yrs.
@@tbridge5279Could be the people selling the lots. When GBE was started roads were put in too. Some ‘clever’ individuals even put utility poles up to make it look like utilities where being installed, and then the whole area sat for many years before anything started. Things are a bit different now, but as the saying goes…Belize it when you see it.
Hey Peter. Thanks for driving by my lots! Good to see the growth.
Glad you could see them!
@@beachhoppr haha love it no time busy busy thanks bud
Those homes being constructed at 10:58 look very different. The clip on them was so short, but what I saw looked really cool!
I noticed that too. Are those some type of container home?
Those are prefabs that were imported.
Hey Peter
Thanks for the update
Looks like Poncho has been very busy
It's growing so fast!
Any idea when the Habitat project is going to start?
It looks like things are starting in that area already!

There are a lot of planned developments starting already. Mostly in the design phases now.
Peter do you why they are putting in roads in this area and not some of the other Subdivision's and who is paying for all this?

They are currently only paving the main road areas. It's a big project with lots of stakeholders.
