EPISODE 14 IS OUT NOW - ua-cam.com/video/JF7xgLXp2hw/v-deo.html ! This one's an extra long episode to kick the weekend off. That battle, my lord.... If you've missed previous episodes, the full playlist is here - ua-cam.com/video/Urz5sKwxe0w/v-deo.html !
What a battle 😂😂 the entwined protectors are very effective. Also the totm of the wild is the mvp of the battle, it literally distracted third of the enemy army and protected both flanks in addition to producing fodder units to distract and take the unnecessary y dmg instead of the main units.. You had some good choices with tomes 😂😂
One potential solution beyond razing the new cities to mitigate the city cap issue would be to release one of our already integrated cities as vassals - Fungal Sanctum perhaps?
I'm eagerly following this series. This is a fantastic game. I'd like to say that the beta of the Rogue Trader was released yesterday. Then, I hope for a new playthrough.
I am really enjoying this series. Now that I am finally caught up, I think turning some cities into vassals after you overrun them, turning their continued production into nutrients for the continuation of the growth while slowly strangling the cities independence makes sense to me. You can always fully absorb them at a later date when you have the strength. Just see it as a longer more methodical absorption without slowing the spread of the growth. Sorry if that was gibberish. Edit: Was thinking of how vines will sometimes strangle a tree.
Catching up on the series now, trying to like and comment as often as I remember Gonna watch the dragon series next You’ve got a great way of deceiving both your actions and creating your own lore, genuinely very cool
Little explanation: Halbardier & all other polearms have First strike. They will retaliate before you strike them. This is why you could not do any damage with the stinger, they would have killed it before it could strike. This is also why charging units that attack polearms still get damaged even if they are supposed to "stop retaliation" they get poked first and then stop the retaliation.
It was a glorious battle indeed! I was floored by the effectiveness of the wild totem and the animate flora. It's a shame we lost the hunting spider, I hope God King Gur Gul realizes how risky his current army doctrine is of not forming up a strategic pathfinder contingent. But who am I to question the God King? The loss of one elite does not stop the spread of the vile spore! There will always be another one to gladly rise up to face the meat grinder! Spores! Do you want to live forever?! 🔥💯🚀
my opinions on animation speed is, during AI turn medium speed setting is good. looks a little goofy on idle, though. for speeding up on your own turn just double right click to execute command at max speed
Great battle, but at the start I thought it might not be so bad to lose a bunch of units. For these reasons: I don't think you can conquer Uppestrand any time soon. Being 6/4 on cities is bad enough, 7/4 is impossible to manage. You need Gur Gul and one or two stacks south of there to retain that city there... AND to wipe whatever random monster spawning is roaming there. I also feel your units lack a certain cohesion with synergies that give lots of umph. You have the 10% bonus next to animal or cav, and Baba is all about beasts but I don't think all armies have that. Iirc you have a bonus on tier I units, but most are outdated. You have access to a bunch of good higher tiers now. Is there more plant stuff, creatures and spells that boost them? (the endgame race transformation makes the race plants) Any high tier ranged/magic units maybe? Too many melee units and they may get in each others way. Those soothers deal 20 damage, is that high with the versatility of healing? What did that druid unit do, I that looked awesome. If there are any suitable AoE damage dealers (lightning/weather or poison), that would be nice. I love the summoned units and getting casting power on death. Any similar shenanigans to add? Was there a unit or spell that healed those around on death of a unit? Losing summoned units doesn't affect morale, does it?

I really like the nice long battles.
Party Elite, I really enjoy your video on the Growth I can't wait to watch each new episode.
Great game, great player- always love seeing some aow4 from this channel!

I was wondering which of those triggered first. Glad to hear that first strike deserves it's name
@@seasand6705 Yes! I looove polearms for that reason. 🔥

i wonder how long it will take for him to realize that he has tons of equipment in his crypt / prison...
You have to prioritize attacking first with your berserkers. They cancel relatiation and you're just taking a lot of unnecessary damage

I think for larger battles like this, which lasted 1 hour, ou ought to pretty much always have animation at fastest.
I love looking at the battles,so I vote for not speeding them up

Please speed up the animation in battles and also stop taking 50% attacks please😂, unless you don't have a choice. I love your content man.
