The correct question to ask is “ is government college worth it “ worth 5.5 years of your life . Will classes be held ? Will exams be conducted on time ? Will marks be on time .
Instead of paying 1Cr in private med college, I would study something else and get into corporate world.... will earn "1Cr interest + Corporate world salary"

Actually average merits of private medical college students are much less than average merits of Govt medical Students with very few exceptions are the main difference between Govt and private medical colleges. If merit is higher, grasping power too will be higher quite naturally.
