You guys bless me so much. Two brothers who love each other and stay close even after marriage and children. You guys are best friends. When we were growing up my brother died in an accident., I was there with him when it happened. He was 11 and I was 14. I am 58 now. I often watch you guys and wonder if he had lived how much better our lives would have been. And you all work together. God Bless. You guys are a blessing to watch. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.
I have to say how much I enjoy these vids and much it helps me as my brother was killed in a car accident when he was 23 and i was 26. He was my best friend from the start and i was always his protector even after we were grown. I miss him so much and know we will be together again. Thank you guys so much for the content of your vids. God bless you and your families and everyone here who have lost someone they love.
Y’all are extremely blessed to be surrounded by family. Cherish those camp fires and cook outs! Y’all’s kids will remember all the fun times with aunts, uncles and cousins!
These guys make me proud to be from Ohio!! My grandfather had a large farm in the Amish territory and between learning from the Amish and then learning the farm life from Grandpa, I was given all the knowledge I needed to never be hungry but always have delicious food as well. You guys remind me of me and my brother cause we were always doing something like what you guys do but after high school I went the military route and he went college so we unfortunately went separate directions and it never really hit me or bothered me till I hit 50 and then one night I realized how much I had screwed up!! Each day I miss him and wish he and I could do stuff like this together again. My health isn’t doing good now and I don’t feel like I’m gonna be around too many more years and I sure regret those lost years!! Guys, don’t make my mistakes with your brothers. I’d do anything to have a relationship with mine like these guys do but now it’s too late and it hurts like hell!! Take care guys, be safe out there!!
Lovely to hear your grandfather learned from the Amish people. Are they still going strong in their traditional way of life as I can imagine with more and more technology the younger generations would drift away from that culture and lifestyle.
This whole vid was amazing from beginning to end, I love these guys and I also love how yall pray together as a family you don't see that often in this generation with families anymore
You're right. Their tutorials are also very informative, thorough and family friendly. I like watching on the family room TV even when the kids are around. Try watching other butchers and count the cuss words and sexual innuendos. These guys are simply the best. Makes me wish I had a brother. Also wish I lived close to their shop. Cheers everyone.

Hey Sean, Seth, and Scott! Love your videos! As a youth, my grandfather retired from B&W and bought a small grocery store on the outskirts of my hometown, Lynchburg, VA. Therein, he operated a modest meatcutting operation that was the main draw. As soon as I turned 15 and 6 months, I acquired my workers permit and began working with him on Saturdays. He trained me to fully process beef hind quarters as well as pork, chicken, and deer. I think my main job was to breakdown and clean the saw, tenderized, grinder, and other equipment. My grandfather, however, quickly turned over the operations to me alone on Saturdays and, eventually, Sundays. During each Christmas season, a huge operation was launched to cook, debone, and slice country hams. In Virginia, both when entertaining and for the family, country ham biscuits are a holiday staple. In this video, I noticed one stark difference in how grandpa set up his shop. The meat grinder was inside of our walk-in cooler. "Brrrr!" was the word when it came time to grind. Like you, however, he also did the double grind: once through the course die and then thought the fine die. Your videos bring back so many memories for me. Keep on keeping on.
A trick I read somewhere, rather than running bread or having ungrounded meat in the worm, I just run some of the already ground meat through, so you don't have any unground meat left. This works best for the final grind.
It's so good to see happy families having such a good time, I know the hot dog's were delicious, it was good to see you all so happy, God bless each and everyone of you.
Love your videos and the detail that you go into with each process. Also love how you are so open with your faith. It is refreshing see and hearing people talk about their faith.
I’ve been watching you guys since I started the carnivore diet. I really loved that you prayed in the video and everyone took their hats off. Here’s to you.....

Today I started my bucket list and I'm 35 years. First thing on my list "1. To meet and shake the hands of THE BEARDED BUTCHER BROTHERS". The moment you ordered the boys "hats off" and prayed, that was it....... my full respect to both you brothers... GOD Bless You both, your families, your home, your business... Abundance of blessings from YAHWEH upon your lives... love, prayers and regards from the other side of earth.. thank you very much sharing your knowledge and understanding on your trade... Never really thought that was possible for me to make at home, thanks man! Just one more thing I can make out if my trimmings. I also leave mine in bulk form and further process them as need be. You have taught me a lot while I have grown my farm and processing my own livestock. Thanks guy! Long time fan
This episode establishes why I continue to watch you Seth and Scott , faith family food and good old American values. This is what we all should aspire to be. 🙏👍😎🐂🇺🇲
My great grandfathers shop just recently stopped making the skinned hotdogs. I don’t know why but now we can only get skinless. I liked the snap of the skin. The present owner didn’t give me a reason. The other dogs are great anyway. When I was little they took me back and showed me how they stuffed the hotdogs. It was a big machine that’s for sure. You guys are bringing back memories.
Greetings from Tunisia. I've been watching your channel for quite some time now and I really appreciate your knowledge about the meat and your explanations about the carcasses that you process. Finally this time, I had the occasion to watch the both of you in your family environment, having a good time and relaxing. Hats off before a couple of hard working American butchers. May god bless you and the ones you love.
I used to work for a "wurstmaker" in Troy, NY. Hembolds. It wouldn't be surprising if you have heard of them. Kurt Widmer was the proprietor and he ran an excellent shop. I was a kid... delivering his product to the local stores and markets. I didn't realize it at the time (17 years old) ... but it was one of the best jobs I'd ever had. I got to witness hot dogs being made. You're process is different... almost "sausage" like, but you did add heat to the process. The curing process for commerical a bit different in that they have "steam/smoke" room where it cures at low temps and they use a lamb casing which will allow the smoke and moisture to permiate during the process. You're method is definitely the best i've seen so far for the "home chef". Well done Sir's. I can tell you have a very proud family heritage and future generations will benefit from it.

This is absolutely the best video I’ve watched so loved the Prayer first of all can’t wait for the next video
Guys this is best video you have ever made! You personalized this video with your beautiful family. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video till the end! The arrow shooting competition between brothers was amazing too. Keep it up! Love watching your schananigans!
After watching this, I’m not sure I’ve ever had a “good” hot dog. 🇺🇸
Lol right!!
And you won't until you try it. I have the equipment. Summer sausage 1st, then dogs...
Great video which included the family with prayer, doesn't get any better.
I will be making these! Great prayer btw!
You guys ROCK! Best channel on UA-cam by far! Thanks for all your hard work on keeping us informed on all ways of processing meat. Also thanks for keeping it real by giving all the glory to GOD!! Loved the prayer being included. I keep telling my wife that someday we're going to Ohio and visiting the Bearded Butchers!!
Thank you very much, we hope you can make it out someday!
Love how he said "quite frankly" without the slightest hint of irony.
good call! I thought the same. :)
YO THANKS!!! I just ordered half a steer from my local farmer. When I talked to the butcher, I actually semi knew what I was talking about in terms of the cuts/options I had. All because of you guys! Great education!
