We sang this song three years ago to my teacher's daughter who had cystitis fibrosis in the hospital. It was our 6th grade graduation day. It was the saddest and happiest day of my life. Then a few months after our graduation we found out she passed away. Her mom told us she will never forget us and the song we sang to her. 🥺❤

At the age of 13, I didn't see the purpose of living. But now as a 17 year old, I wanna live and see new faces. When im a grown adult, I finally wanna say "I swear I lived."
So you don’t have to read this but I just have to vent for a moment.... So I suffer from depression and I’ve been having suicidal thoughts. I have been wondering if I’m gonna survive from this. Then I opened up UA-cam and the first video was this song. I’ve always had a theory that UA-cam listens to us, so this makes me think it does even more but I’m glad because I needed to know if I was going to live or not. Thank you UA-cam recommendations. And if you are suffering from the same things things will get better, it may take a while but you will make it through this. I love you, even if I don’t know you. (p.s. I’ve found hope to live! I’ve been better here recently. I’ve been trying to get rid of the toxic things in my life and it worked. The only thing left that’s stoping me is my father. He’s never been great but I try not to let it affect my life. Thanks to everyone who have replied and gave me hope to get through it.)

I don't always feel happy, but I am satisfied with the life I am living and I thank every single part of me who kept on encouraging myself to keep on going and telling me that my existence is valued. I cry I feel sadness, I feel angry, but I can finally feel, so I am happy to say I have lived, and I am still fighting. So to everyone fighting their battles, surround yourself with people you love, spoil yourself, cry, laugh, feel jealous, anger but make sure to feel emotions. Feel grateful for every opportunity and most importantly, keep fighting. You may not know what you are fighting for, but trust me here, you will live the life you deserve however, it is up to you to live it that way. Make sure you LIVE.

This is one of the only songs that can make my cry because I know that I haven’t lived, yes I’ve been privileged and done more than most people but when I’ve been traveling and going places I just haven’t felt any sort of happiness or completion from it and it just passes in a blur. That’s okay because the mistakes we make are history. When we need to look back, it can actually be very useful when we experience the same situation. Everyone is not perfect And I’m not just someone who writes pedagogical stuff about “Everything’s gonna be alright” no I am actually trying to help you understand that it’s totally normal and many teenagers and adults feel the same way. What I’ve learnt is that you should be thankful and grateful for being alive! The future is waiting for us! Remind yourself that every negative thoughts are only thoughts. Try blowing away those negative thoughts. And it’s okay to cry! It’s okay to be sad. Because tomorrow you’ll feel better when you look at the peaceful sky. 💜

At the age of 13, I didn't see the purpose of living. But now as a 17 year old, I wanna live and see new faces. When im a grown adult, I finally wanna say "I swear I lived."
So you don’t have to read this but I just have to vent for a moment....
So I suffer from depression and I’ve been having suicidal thoughts. I have been wondering if I’m gonna survive from this. Then I opened up UA-cam and the first video was this song. I’ve always had a theory that UA-cam listens to us, so this makes me think it does even more but I’m glad because I needed to know if I was going to live or not. Thank you UA-cam recommendations. And if you are suffering from the same things things will get better, it may take a while but you will make it through this. I love you, even if I don’t know you.
(p.s. I’ve found hope to live! I’ve been better here recently. I’ve been trying to get rid of the toxic things in my life and it worked. The only thing left that’s stoping me is my father. He’s never been great but I try not to let it affect my life. Thanks to everyone who have replied and gave me hope to get through it.)

I suffer from depression and anxiety and listening to this really brought me to tears, having lived through so much, from feeling everything to nothing almost every day, from sleepless nights looking at the ceiling having endless wars with my mind, from feeling like a piece of shit every single day of my life to standing here. I don't always feel happy, but I am satisfied with the life I am living and I thank every single part of me who kept on encouraging myself to keep on going and telling me that my existence is valued. I cry I feel sadness, I feel angry, but I can finally feel, so I am happy to say I have lived, and I am still fighting. So to everyone fighting their battles, surround yourself with people you love, spoil yourself, cry, laugh, feel jealous, anger but make sure to feel emotions. Feel grateful for every opportunity and most importantly, keep fighting. You may not know what you are fighting for, but trust me here, you will live the life you deserve however, it is up to you to live it that way. Make sure you LIVE.

This song reminds me of this decade and it just makes me sad cause I really don’t feel like I lived enough....
This is one of the only songs that can make my cry because I know that I haven’t lived, yes I’ve been privileged and done more than most people but when I’ve been traveling and going places I just haven’t felt any sort of happiness or completion from it and it just passes in a blur. It makes me jealous of of people who are happy and carefree because when I try to actually LIVE instead of just survive I’m held back by the stress of what I’ll have to go back to when it’s over. And knowing I’ll never achieve my dreams makes this even worse because I won’t even have a job I like. The only thing I’ve ever wanted to do with my life is be a musician and I though it was just a phase I’d grow out of but I never did and it scares me because I know that’s the only thing I’d ever be happy doing but I CANT because it’s just so unrealistic and impossible and it just makes me frustrated and jealous and I don’t know what to do at this point, I literally cannot find another career I wouldn’t hate.
