  • I recently had the opportunity to visit the City of Hope, a not-for-profit Clinical Research Center, Hospital, and Graduate Medical school. My family connection with the City of Hope goes back over 100 years, and the Organization will always have a place in our hearts. Seeing the campus, the works, and the patients was a heartwarming experience seeing what the organization has done over the years, saving many lives.
If you are interested in contributing to such a life-changing organization, go to the link below to see how you can help the City of Hope continue its monumental part in changing lives.

Oh Josh! What a wonderful video. I know the City of Hope very well. My husband was treated there for Non-Hodgkins lymphoma. He had a stem cell transplant and the City of Hope made him healthy for a good year and a half, til the Lymphoma came back with a vengeance. I lost my husband, my soul mate of 23 years, on February 5, 2011. Without the City of Hope I would have lost him sooner.

@@jadore8789 Thank you so much for your kind words. The pain of losing him was unimaginable. It's almost 11 years since his passing, but the pain is still here, not as bad as before, but occasionally I'll still shed a tear. December 20th would have been our 34th anniversary....and yes I did cry that day too and always do. Thank God I have an amazing husband now that accepts my devotion to my deceased soul mate. We just celebrated our 10th Anniversary. Once again, thank you for your very kind words.

What a beautiful legacy your grandmother left. She had been through so much in her life. Yet gave so much to others. This work you are doing is world changing for people's health and hope and enables a beacon of hope. You do such amazing work Josh. Your grandmother Edith, would be so proud.

Josh, I loved the relationship you had with your grandparents. I had the same relationship with my own. My grandmother always told me I was an old soul! Your family has blessed our community with the City od Hope. I became a bone marrow donor back in 2003 after my brother was diagnosedwiht leukemia. I was invited to take a tour of the facilities and it change my life. To see the individuals sick, and fighting the battle with such a positive outlook was remarkable. Thank you, for all that you and your family continue to do. Thank you!

Josh - your grandmother’s Wikipedia is very impressive. So much loss in her life. Also, out of that grief, she gave to many. So proud of people that give to others! Need to have more people in the world like her.

This video is amazing! I posted to you about my granddaughter a few weeks ago, and coincidentally she, on her 5th birthday was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She is now 12. And has survived thanks to the wonderful research hospital we have in Iowa City, Iowa. So thank you so much for the contributions that you and your family have made. There are families that have got to keep their loved ones because of your generosity and kindness. They truly do matter, even in fly over country. Happy Holidays and much love!

How envious l am when considering the true equity of your Roots. Amazing Josh, really, considering the vapid, shallow moment of time we are in when considering true wealth. And Mr. Boyd, your graciousness in all u do, and your Bobby Boyd living segments give us a clue to your natural altruism. Ms. Rivers, a great and dear friend of yours, comes from the same tenacity in lineage. Ms. Macdonald also has Roots steeped in altruism.

You truly are one in a million, with a heart of gold Josh. Through all the madness, you and Bobby's involvement with various charities and sharing stories of your Grandmother is heartwarming.
The City of Hope and the work they do is incredible. The fascinating part of their work for me, is how they can research, formulate and provide drugs to patients direct. Having listened to one of the patients talk of their journey has left me feeling emotional, but inspired me to help. I'm very grateful to you for raising awareness, and sharing the videos. Thank you. 💞

Thank you for sharing this. I’m not from the USA, so it’s interesting to hear that a hospital / treatment Centre with incredible facilities like this exist. I just lost my father to cancer 2 weeks ago which went very very quickly & lost mom to cancer as well 3 years ago. I have been constantly researching for treatment centers, surgeons in other countries, but they were both too ill to fly to USA. Both were way too young as well but they are no longer in pain. 🦋🦋 Hopefully I can give the medical research a break as I’m exhausted, but now I know this place exist should another relative, friend or myself get ill in the future.
Take care and thank you for continuing to fund this vital facility with what looks like extraordinary care, treatment.
Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas to you both.
PS. I really enjoy watching your interviews w people here btw. I don’t know who half of them are lol but its interesting regardless.

Josh loves to big himself up. His life has known no sacrifice nor commitment that his ancestors Made by his ancestors, he should tremule in his boots at how fortunate he is instead of riding on the coattails of his grandparents in particular. I see no sign that he practice s the shabbat or Any other ritual of the Jewish faith, yet he got married in a Yamulka by a Jewish priest. Being a Jew in name is good business for Josh. You can see how uncomfortable Bobby is here with all the grand standing

Do your Grandmother Proud… Stop Drinking So Much! It’s out of Control… you always have a wine glass or glass with cocktail in your hand! No Class in that! Disgrace to your hard working family. You have good taste and to wear Jeans to Hope would and does dishonor Your Family Members… too much… you know better… very disappointed in you!
