Great video. There is almost no repair information on the Pro 8. This video does not cover battery replacement and they missed the step to replace the thermal paste but using this video I was able to replace my battery. Thanks! 😊😊
Probably obvious to anyone watching this, but it looks like they forgot to mention putting new thermal paste on the SOC before reinstalling the heat spreader!

@iFixit Repair can you put the Adhesive Strips for sale on your shop please? You sell the screen, the debonder, and the bonding frame, but you don't sell any way to glue the whole thing back together? While you're at it, sell us the batteries! Microsoft wants 750$ CAD to replace the entire tablet, even if the only issue is worth 100$!

It comes with the replacement displayer. The one I bought on iFixit's website has the adhesives along with the screen in the same box.

Just wondering why you didnt reapply thermal paste? If you had to clean it off, its likely recomended to replace it no?
