@@RawStartup Hi. I can just agree! I was looking around and viewed many videos but this video transferred the topic in a perfect and understandable way! Tank you very much for that great video!
Great approach to OKRs. For your reference: 1. Set the high-level objectives • do 1 or 2 max for the quarter 2. Break the objectives down to projects and key results • 3-6 projects max • projects should reach the high-level objective • key results: Specific, Measurable, Stretch 3. Set the team • autonomous • has the resources • must have a lead 4. Have the teams do a monthly breakdown into months 5. Announce it to everyone in the company 6. Do the weekly check in • are they on track? • get them missing resources 7. Score and announce the project • score suggestion: use smileys (sad, neutral, happy) • don't blame
I have watch alot of videos on goal setting and breakdown the goal in small peices of projects but, They way you explain it in this videos is very simple to understand the whole process and start setting our own goal. I have no words to explain how valuable this video of you is for me. JUST WANT TO THANK YOU - Please always be transparent as you are in this video. We new entrepreneurs need some inside advice I mean things which works in real life by real people and companies like yours. Please share more of what systems and strategies work for you and responsible for the success of your business. Thanks Again! Ramin
Been an OKR coach for 10 years now. Ill call this the Vivino OKR system. It's Unique... But if it works, why not! OKRs are the most crowdsourced management methodology. What I like here is that OKRs consider capacity. Most Os are Aspirational and qualitative. KRs are mostly outcomes or big milestones. Projects come later not before KRs. OKRs can be bottom upped as well. OKRs can be spread through the organisation not just a few people.
I have been practicing OKRs for a while, and I must say this is a very effectively explained OKR for starters, to give a confidence and motivation towards using OKR. Thanks for sharing the lively video. Someone hasn't liked this video, seriously!!! I would love to hear about what wasn't good about the video.
After a "lot" of OKRs videos, finally one that I can understand and apply!! I love the «Objective - projects - key results» explanation. The projects part is left out by many people and that was a missing link for me. Thanks a lot from a small business owner!!
Thank you so much for your time and efforts! I just want you know that right now our team is in front of the board implementing these steps, so your impact is quite huge on us. Best Heini!
It's difficult to overstate how important I've found this video to be. Through a combination of experience and experimentation, I'd been working to a model that approximated steps 1-3 - but the way I'd been managing the KRs... well, it always felt like my approach had a hole in it that I didn't know how to fill. Great content, thank you for your insight.
Awesome video, Heini! This came at the perfect time. With 2019 right round the corner, it's the perfect time to start not just setting goals... but figuring out how to actually make them happen. And OKR seems like the way to do it.
