RESIDENTS OF ViBART RD, YARDLEY, BIRMINGHAM COME TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE THE QUEENS PLATINUM JUBILEE

A wonderful gathering of all ages and cultures came together to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee on 5 June 2022. Organised by a dedicated small group of residents this became a fantastic day with a bouncy castle, pass the parcel, face painting and dancing for all. Plus delicious home made cakes and other foods laid out proudly by residents outside their homes.
A raffle raised over £200.00 to Save Barrows Lane sports field showing the passion and dedication of our community. A music show was arranged featuring The Celturian, Fay Goodman, Ladonna Bunney, Brian Allen, Pete Hartley and Clare Derbyshire. We are very grateful to the Arts Council and Birmingham City Council for kindly supporting our special event! Hip Hip hurray!!!
