I dislike people who follow trends BC why cant people do what's good for their skin and what they like to do coz some people have like sensitive skin or natural long lashes like why cant people be themself
I like trend’s because you don’t have to follow them you won’t be arrested but if you see a new trend that pops out to you you can try something you like that you never thought of trying. Stop being a hater let people have fun no one’s forcing you to participate.

The whole “soap brows are horrendous” thing and “black mascara on redheads looks ridiculous” and all that bs is a direct result of people following trends. Not to mention the hatred of natural female bodies that aren’t perfectly curvy and small or men’s bodies that aren’t perfectly muscular while still being lean. I’m not hating on anyone but saying things like that is hate and it stems from these “everyone should follow this trend because it’s in right now and if you don’t you’re strange” era. I don’t think the actual trends are a problem I just think the pressure surrounding them is incredibly toxic. And choosing not to participate in them brings judgment, so yea no one’s forcing anybody to, but you’re for sure gonna be judged if you don’t.

i would say an in between of glowy and matte, so like glassy with a little less shiny finish, nice natural blush, mid sized but fluffy natural brows, and just to take a guess i would say a neutral/colored eyeliner, so like maroon
do whatever you want and whatever makes you feel most comfortable with your appearance (within reason of course). if you like the 2022 “clean girl” makeup then do that, if you like the 2018 ig baddie makeup then do that, if you like the 2020 tiktok “alt” makeup then do that. who gaf as long as it makes you happy
Forget trends. Classic beauty is timeless. Ignore goofy, extreme trends. If you do things that genuinely look good and best flatter your distinctive features, it will always look good.

i like dewey skin. my favorite is korean glass skin. basically looking like a snail exploded on my face 😂 i get the most compliments on my face when it’s shiny from my moisturizer and has proper moisture balance
I stopped completely wearing foundation 1.5 years ago, went the most simplest makeup look, I put just a touch of blush on my cheeks and over my nose, mascara and that’s it. Takes me less than 4 min to do my makeup and I have gotten sooo many more compliments. I was never into eye shadow or fake lashes but I would do it before. I do think that less is always better
I love matte tbh, I’m not saying like foundation, baking, but I use concealer and then put powder over to make my face not shiny, I hate the blowy look
Ngl, glowy skin looks oily and greasy on people who have acne (like me) or textured skin unless it's in perfect lighting. Im glad all these trends are going away.
I love dewey makeup however I think I'm gravitating towards more of a satin finish now because as somebody with combination skin it just lasts longer throughout the day. Also I've recently been over overlining my lips now so those are the only two I can testify to. As far as lashes go, I don't think the trend will end but the style will change. People will probably opt for less denss lashes or go shorter.
I'm a girl in South Florida, glowy/dewy/sweaty/shiny skin is what you get when you go out in that humidity. Matte makeup doesnt stand a chance here lol.
