My friend quit living the law as we are in the new dispensation.All was finished on the cross.God loves that drunk person just as He loves those who are sober.All you need is to believe in Jesus.
Sin is simply disobedience to God and failure to keep his commands which are summed up as one; love. Those fruits of the body are revealed after falling into sin
