Vampire with thralls could be cool, or instead of raising as thralls he stands alone, but each party member who dies raises all his stats and gives him another action. He starts weak but literally gets more powerful as party members die.
It's interesting to see the game considers simultaneous killing blows as a single 3 stress tick, not 3 instances of 1 stress. When the GR resisted the stress on the triple kill she gained 0 stress while the other two got 3.
I wouldn’t mind seeing an archer that very robinhood-like. Kind of a speedy ranged backline character that’s largely useless upfront like the Leper in the back.
02:40:25 When people ask you if DD1 is better/worse than DD2 you COULD get a bit spicy and ask if one gender is better than another. For me, the answer is certainly 'no, but they are different'. I would also say this about DD1 and 2
Hey Baer, seeing you fight the focused fault I always find you are still treating it as a damage race. However, you can remove the tokens you get from the eyes by either dodging attacks or having stealth. So the stealth powder is a fantastic item in that fight, as are heroes who can self-stealth and those who generate a lot of dodge+
Hey Baer, if you're looking for something new (to you), I'd recommend FAR:Lone Sails and it's sequel. They're both relatively short games, but so wonderfully put together. They remind me of the DD games in the sense that the end result is more than the sum of it's parts. I'd love to see what you think of them.
Act 3 boss is my most hated boss in the game. it doesn't feel like theres any outplay to the fight and a dps race feels horrible with most team comps. I wish it was tuned a bit better
Way to outplay is to buy shimmering powders, noisemakers, and stimulating poultices. Use DOT on eyes, apply regen on heroes to pull them off death's door since Limerance doesn't apply any DOT effects.
I still think that there should be a chance for negative affinity to make a positive relationship (frenemies) and positive affinity to make a negative relationship (obsession)
See, but the latter sucks, a lot. The beta had something like that in Amourus. The two would heal and stress heal each other frequently, but often would prevent others from healing them. So if you had a team of hornies, you'd have nearly no reliable heal to use at all.

I love this torch, it ups your damage a lot, but also increases the risk.
