in a closed system, this should not be possible - however the quantum world is not a closed system and by all means, magnetism is a quantum system. This means that if they are able to correctly harness the power of magnetism this device should work for as long as the bearings can hold.

It might be possible. An electric lawnmower draws about 12A, which is 12A x 120V or 1.44KW. This can run on 16Ga wire. To get to 10KW, the current is 7 times greater, so the cross-sectional area of the wire needs to be 7x also. So if the wire they used was SQRT(7) x 16Ga diameter it should handle 10KW. I think they had a board of 100 x 100W light bulbs to prove the 10KW. 10KW is about 14HP. It takes 18HP to drive an auto down a level highway at 60MPH. So the generator would not power an electric auto.
They are using a variable frequency drive to slowly ramp the speed up to 60hz. By doing that and controlling the load it would only require a very small amount of current to get the generator up to speed.

That belt cannot handle anything like 10kw! Maybe 250w. The generator also is not big enough for 10kw, perhaps 3kw. Not convinced.
