I’m 46yrs old and I remember when this video came on the Jukebox channel 😂 but look at young Jermaine Dupri, I remember his part, but I had no idea that was him until now 🤣🤣🤣
All music industries should treat bands, musicians and stars with respect and dignity, give them creative and artistic freedom, let them make music the way they want it and let the people be themselves.

I will say that it's very interesting how they used to hyper-sexualize young male artists during this time period but the double standard only villainized people who would do it to girls. This was too much, in my opinion. Even back then when I was like 7 years old and they came out I didn't really care for their singing but also I felt like they were being presented as too grown.
I was also 7 when this came out, and i'll say this, As a 35 yr old man now, i know that its not right, but at that time, i LOVED this, and wanted to be just like them...lol
@@BigA_DaTrucka He likely played a part. But sadly the double standard that keeps us from protecting young black men from inappropriate contexts is just awful and age-old.

I guess Chris having them act so mature made it easy for them to transitioning into adult music because a lot of kid singers can’t be taken serious as adults. Ex. Corey, Romeo, bow wow
Who else knows that’s not really JD’s voice? He wrote the rap but it was an unknown rapper by the name of Tre hence the “Tre from LA” part. Jermaine’s voice isn’t even that deep. 😂

I will be honest the video is very sexual for some 9 year olds!! *Also tho didn’t know JD was on the song must of glazed over that completely. They jammed the hell out of this, but it’s sad how fast the industry made them grow up. They’re showing more skin than Jodeci.
