Phillies fan since the late 1970's. This run by the Phils reminds me of the 1980 Phils who won it all that year. Just hope they can maintain this run they're on. I know it's early but so far so good.

There is no other team in the NL who would have the same record as the Phillies if they had played the same schedule. Braves fans and others like to point out the schedule, but conveniently leave of the fact they have a considerably worse record against the same opponents as the Phils. Just take the Padres for example, sweet out at home vs the Phils, easily won a series against the Braves
Phillies starting rotation is 1st in the mlb in ERA, wins, innings pitched, strikeouts, opponent batting average, shutouts, and complete games. That's just insanity to be first in all those. Well that was before today's game but witb wheeler putting on another stellar start I doubt anything changed I mean the era actually went down with him only allowing 2. I mean... even if you're not a fan of this team we are watching something special and I'm glad it's my team doing it. Enjoy it while we can never know what the future holds
