In a ton of fantasy works demons and names are very tightly connected and often speaking a demon's name is a way to either summon them, get possessed by them or take dominion over them. So its thematically appropriate for the demon of sound to want you to say her name correctly.

There is a lot to love about this MV. The disco groove, the classic 70's animation/art style, and, of course, Nerissa's lovely singing. Plus, the more I chew on that line "Play with fire, take me higher" in the context of the song, the more I dig it.
I am getting that 70s groove with a bit of 2015's alternative electronic/techno. Such a good vibe, reminiscent of Siames.

There's something about a singer writing their own lyrics that elevates the experience for me. Something about hearing their thoughts and feelings given artistic form really draws me in. Not to say I don't love songs written for the performer (Sparks is one of the biggest bops of all time, Let Me Stay Here leads my sleepytime playlist, and Astrogirl makes me cry consistently, to name a few) but the double-trouble of a singer-songwriter hits different.
