Another great video Lynn. Hope you are feeling better after trying the gluten free food. After many years of suffering with IBS I was eventually diagnosed with coeliac disease. I now must follow a wholly gluten free diet but feel so much better for it.
Well I give an update in a video coming up next week. I’m sorry you have been diagnosed with it, gluten is in so many foods, but I’m glad that your feeling better for it ❤️❤️❤️

Sugar and carbs a no no now. Love the black top. Must go to Tesco and have a look. I think the supermarket clothes are much better now and at a reasonable price. Thank you for sharing. X

All we can do is try and eat a little healthier isn’t it, Drs can only do so much, I don’t take sugar in drinks, I use honey where I can now and again, but I do like deserts, they are my downfall. Hello Lynn, two things you reminded me of today, my son always makes for the biscuit tin when he visits, and we both have a habit of breaking a biscuit in half, leaving half in the tin. Whenever I pop into his house I look in the biscuit tin and there is always half a biscuit, I’m 76 and he is 49 and we’ve done this since he was a toddler. 😂. The other thing is earrings, I have just lost my pearl earrings which were bought for me by my daughter nearly 20 years ago. What I think I did was throw them in the bin with some tissues. However, we are in our static holiday caravan and many people use the bin facility provided, so by the time I realised what I’d done, it was too late to go delving down the communal bins 😫. Keep up the vlogs I enjoy every one and I do make myself a cuppa when you tell me to 😂🤣😂 xx
Hi Diann, haha I think it’s quite a common thing, if I’m getting low cause it’s nearly a shopping day, my son will say “what’s going on mum, this cafes going downhill” hahaha 🤣 I’ve never known the half biscuit one though, that’s new to me lol. Haven’t tried the Irish Gunpowder Gin yet!😂 I like Tanqueray gin too,if you have Indian supermarkets near you check them out for nuts,and dried fruits,because I live in Queens NY the most diverse county in the US,and I find that you can save a lot of money here if you shop in ethnic supermarkets,and here things like nuts are cheap in the Indian ones.I love Tina,she is fun like you,and very nice,good to see you two getting together again.The vegans make mayonnaise out of the aquafaba the liquid from a tin of chickpeas,you might want to read up on it see if it’s any better for you.❤❤

When my grandchildren were little l would spend as much time as l could with them as l was still working. Hello Lynn lovely to see you as always I liked your shopping haul .it's a good idea to get gluten-free flour rice cakes are ok for snacks and my daughter gets pots of jelly only 12 calories per pot also humus with peppers or carrot and cucumber we have melon or an apple sometimes for a snack as well.we are on a protein diet you have to weigh everything but it's really good as you don't feel hungry because of the snacks in-between meals sending you lots of love ♥️♥️♥️ xxx.

Hi Lynn , I know exactly what you mean about time spent with the grandchildren. We have 6, 3 of which are at school now , but when we have the younger ones we give them 100% of our time and love it . Lynn my great grandson and grandson were here yesterday. They were whispering about something. When my son asked what they wanted Jack said. We can ask Nanna. Nannas never say no. So true 😂. When my granddaughters were young They’re 27 and 25 now I used to draw dressing up dolls cut them out and draw clothes to dress them in. They loved that and we played post offices board games and we used to clear the floor stand soldiers up and roll a ball to see who could knock all of them down first. My two oldest grandsons now 37 and 33 were into water guns. My husband and me used to end up soaked. We even used to fire from the upstairs windows. Happy days ❤. Sorry for the long winded reply Lynn. ❤

My granddaughter used to stay so often we had a wardrobe of clothes for her and we used to play “posh shops” she had a clothes rail and little till and I used to give her fancy bags from the shop I worked in we spent hours making up outfits and selling them to each other 🤣

Lynn ... we are about the same size ... I'm about 3/4 inch taller ... hahaha ... for snacking I made my own mixed nunts - walnuts, pecans, almonds ... and I avoid starchy carbs like potatos and pasta and rice as well as sweets ... nothing after 6pm ... it helps
Well I’m very jealous of that 3/4 inch, it really matters when your vertically challenged like me hahaha 🤣 I’m usually quite good with my diet, but I fall to the wayside now and again, then get back on it. I need to adopt the nothing after 6pm, that’s when I will snack now and again, it’s my danger zone ❤️🥰❤️

Hi Lynn, well I went to Tesco and purchased a number of items. Beige trousers and a beautiful pale blue jogging top. Great quality, so much to see I did not know where to go first haha. Grandchildren are a blessing, treasure every moment. Special times. ❤ Have a lovely time with family. Never had much success with sweet potato chips. Found a lot of tips on line but nothing made them crispy. Anyway we can only try and do our best to stay healthy. Thanks for sharing once again, have a great weekend, see you next week. Hi Lynn, grandchildren are sent to keep us grandparents on our toes lol. The tent brought back memories of making dens with covers and cushions, great fun. I have 5, youngest 7 and oldest 19. The nuts and seeds have gotten extortionate now. The apple juice is my grandson's fav as well and buy those cartons. I got a few bargains in sainsbury's today, clothing 20% off. They are lol, and I used to make tents for mine with a wooden maiden and sheets haha . So expensive, I hope I like the bars once I’ve made them lol. I must call in to Sainsbury’s, I never go, my nearest is a half hour drive away. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lynn. Yes I totally agree with you about grandchildren. Our daughter has two boys 17 and 10 and a daughter 19. The love you have for them is entirely different to the love you have for your own children. I looked after them quite a lot when they were little. Make the most of the time you have with little Ida while she is little.....they grow up so fast. Our granddaughter is away at university and the eldest boy is working but I make sure I pick up the youngest from school regularly so I get to spend time with him. It's something I look forward to.
I was in Tesco this morning and guess what 😂 yes I got a pair of jeans, a top and a dress. 😮.

Hi Lynn , had to say how funny I bought some of those breadcrumbs for a recipe at Christmas. Can’t remember the recipe and they are still in the cupboard 🤣. Ida was born during lockdown so we weren’t allowed to go to the hospital, so you were very privileged Jeanie. Another great video Lynn, I know what you mean about having more time to spend with wee Ida. Mum and I brought up my other three siblings as my dad passed away when I was 24 and the younger ones were 6, 12 and 14. We were so busy working etc. When my nieces and nephews were born, I was still working but when my great niece and nephew were born I was retired so, just like you, I spend all my time with them when I have them. I have Ruaridh who is three, for the day tomorrow, can’t wait 😂 I will either have to pretend to be Spidey or Batman 😂. Love your new tops and earrings, you always have great taste and an eye for what mix and matches , enjoy your time with your granddaughter ❤x

Great video. I don’t have kids or grans, but lots of nieces and nephews that I adore and spoil. My mum loves having her grans around, they’re so entertaining. Gosh, what a great idea making individual lasagnes, never thought of that. Be careful with things labeled low fat because fat is flavour, so if they remove some, they’re replacing it with sugar or salt or something else..It’s better to use full fat, but control your portions. Your nails are a nice colour. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Ann, children are a blessing whether your own or not aren’t they. My daughter doesn’t have children, and she’s the same with Ida, they have a wonderful relationship. Yes I’ll take a look at the ingredients before I buy, I have to watch my cholesterol levels so I do need to be careful. I go to a technician for my nails 💅🏻 every 3 weeks they’re gel. This is exactly why I try to make memories with Ida, I want her to look back and always remember good times. I waited a long time for her, I’m 67 and she’s 3, and I get so tired when I have her, my only wish would have been that I got her when I had more energy lol, but I’m so very very grateful to have her now. Not sure I’ll live long enough for a great grandchild, so I’m making the most of her. I freeze lots Jean, happy Tesco shopping lol ❤️❤️❤️

My grandchildren are aged 10 - 18 - theres 5 of them. They always make a beeline for the garage coz they know theres a good selection of pop (not fizzy) drinks! My youngest grandaughter loves the juice cartons from Lidl - have carrots etc on them. As well as the pantry cupboard for something to snack on! The next requested item is a charger lead for their devices & then its "Grandad can i go on your x box"!!! 😂😂 They are all the same arent they!

I think when we have our grandchildren to look after them we give them 100% attention time too, because our children trust us to take the best care of them, and yes my kids and grandkids can help themselves in the kitchen in fact when my eldest left home he used to come and take a carrier bag of stuff he needed 🤣 why? simply because they feel it’s still their home, happy/safe place.
Your house sounds just like mine, my son is 42 now, and he still rings to say he’s popping in for lunch, he says I make the best sandwich hahaha and my daughter often comes for tea, wonderful ❤️❤️❤️

I agree with you about grandchildren ,being able to devote more time to them , only 19 months between out two children and yes it was hard work but great fun and lovely memories , we now have 2 great grandchildren Nellie was 3 on Christmas day and has brought so much joy into our lives just at a time when we really needed it, then we got Louie so even more fun, they all go straight to the treats drawer when they visit which is good, Just another bit of personal information I met my husband in the Albion pub , I noticed when we drove past last week they have a defibrillator on the wall . looking forward to some more cooking vlogs , hope you had a lovely time with Ida x
Thank you, yes I will do when I make the crisps. I wouldn’t change it for the world, they are very close and great friends. I don’t think I’ll be lucky enough to have great grandchildren, my little one is only 3 and I’m 68 in June, so probably not lol. Agree with you about grandchildren, when my 2 were younger and they were staying we used to have a trip to the craft shop and we would be busy making things cos they loved crafting. They also loved baking and cooking too,so after they had left..I used to feel worn out 😂

I’ve written a couple of ‘begging letters’ to my Granddaughter but she’s totally ignored them. I’m 72 and she’s almost 20 so my son and I probably won’t ever see her again. My only grandchild and my son’s only child. Thank you 😢

I think everyone should have a go at working in a GP surgery to see exactly what goes on . Reception staff on minimum wage are treated so badly by the general public! They would not speak to the doctor the way they speak to the staff that do all the hard work before they get to the doc. It’s the GP that decides the way the appointments are allocated but reception that take the abuse when nothing is available! Also let’s not forget that it is now a worldwide health service that caters for EVERYBODY that now pours into this country! The NHS is truly …… and our government know this . All part of their well planned plan! Covid and vaccines etc were all part of it so let’s not complain when most of our silly brain washed public went along with it!!
I think people know it’s not the receptionists fault Jackie, they are all doing their best, it’s the system that’s broken. I’ve never been rude to a receptionist in my life, and I don’t blame the Drs either, it’s an overloaded service with not enough resources, it’s the NHS in general that people are frustrated with, but there is no excuse for rudeness from anyone. I sent you my email so I could explain but I guess you didn't get that either. This past week the internet here has been in and out. Lots of problems with it lately. I think they finally got the issue fixed though. It hasn't gone out tonight at all. I was literally having Lynn withdrawals. To condense it, we got sick with a stomach bug, and I was going to lay in the bed and get on the computer, but then my computer crashed and I couldn't get it started. So I had to wait to feel better so I could take it into the shop and get it fixed. That was a few days but I have it back and then internet going in and out. What a mess. I'm probably the only person that still uses my computer. I only use my phone for calls and text. I don't have anything downloaded on there. It's just too small for me to see anything on my phone anyway. The good news is, I finally got some work done in the craft room after I got to feeling better and I had no computer. LOL. But I missed you terribly. I'm sooooo happy I get to see your mom. I never forgot that you told me you were going to put a video up showing her. I'm soooo excited to see it. I'm glad all is well there and that you are doing good. I thought about every single day and wished I could message you to let you know what was going on. I didn't want you to worry. Well now that everything seems to be back to "normal", I'm going to catch up tomorrow with the videos of yours that I missed. Sending you tons and tons of hugs & love my beautiful friend.
