Thanks! You're the first sharpener to spend so much time on the back. I figure the guy who made it knows how best to sharpen it. Cheers.

Barr tools are the best! I bought an inshave from Barr and it's unbelievable how good the quality is in his tools. They come sharp and ready top go. Just great tools for the right needs.

I bought the 1 1/2” framing chisel and it came the sharpest tool I ever seen in my life! It’s my favorite tool!! I love it!! It’s like something out of the iron lords! Lol Then I was working away and heard this “BANG” and my chisel fell off my project onto the cement floor!!! Ohhhh nooo!!! So I am going to try and restore it back to new! I was going to buy a cbn wheel to grind it back but I might try to work it out with my trend diamond stone… I also have a couple shapton glass stones (6000 & 16000 grit)…

I have a 2", 1 1/2" a1" framing chisel, and the corner chisel. I love them. They look elegant and have a wonderful feel to them.

Nice video Barr. Now could you make one where you sharpen your 3" Slick? I own one and am baffled as to how I'm ever going to restore the edge it had when new. Thanks - keep posting!

Im taking a course at the shelter institute and really like your slips and chisels. Going to get mine if anyone ever gets one in stock. Do you make a set of left and right skew chisels too? I’d like to have all my tools with a Barr ( bear) icon on them.

Great video. I am curious about how to sharpen an millwright/shipwright adz and a kerf slick.

Is the last whetstone a Bluestone from Canada?
And do your new chisels need the back flattened? I know…. That’s a dumb question lol I’ll flatten it anyhow to answer that one.

Hi Barr I'm a little confused what he other liquid was. Not the simple green one.

I cringed when the ding went in.... Agree with MrBalpit, love to see an example with the slick.
