Too many questions we need answered (or hinted at) in S2: Who is Alastor master? Leaning on Eve rather than Lilith, as Lilith is the obvious choice (and the show does not tend to go abvious). What was Lilith's deal with Adam? How will heaven react to the news of sinners being able redemmed? As Pentious, a sinner, was killed and then redeemed, can a winner, Adam, be condemned to hell as he was killed too?
Definitely Eve holding Alastor's leash. Lucifer implies he may have had a thing with Eve, which might be why Lilith left him and made a deal with Adam to go to heaven. The question is, what was Lilith's deal? And what is the purpose of Alastor's deal? What did he get and what does Eve get?

The finale was such an epic showdown, seeing Charlie and Lucifer kick the absolute s*** out of Adam. At the same time, Lucifer roasts Adam over the fact Lucifer ended up with Lilith and maybe even had a thing with Eve, Sir Pentious sadly sacrificing himself after kissing Cherri like a total CHAD, and Niffty stabbing Adam to death. I loved this show so much, and it truly felt like the wait was worth it. Plus, we now know officially that Sinners can, in fact, be redeemed, with Pentious ending up in Heaven, which had me ROARING WITH JOY because he was a total legend who earned it. It also looks like Lilith will be an antagonist next season and try to stop Charlie under some deal with Heaven. Makes me wonder where has she been this whole time while her family has been fighting for their lives and what was her deal with Adam? Overall this show has been incredible and as someone who's been waiting for the show ever since I saw the pilot 4 years ago, this show and the soundtrack especially truly blew me away

Hazbin has been about the sinners - the humans who lived on earth and then wound up in hell when they died. the spin-off show, Helluva Boss, is going to be about the actual demons born in hell, and about the social classes and rules hell also has in place. it really builds a bigger picture of the universe~
21:10 - Yes! 100% I agree. The thing is, Alastor definitely had no intention of getting close to anyone at the hotel. But, as he admitted during episode 8, they are growing on him. He lamented this in his breakdown part during "The Show Must Go On" at the end. But he is bound to Charlie for whatever reason we aren't completely clear on... and because of that, they will likely continue to grow on him... whether he wants that to happen or not. Super fascinating character, can't wait to see what happens with him in season 2.
Keeping in mind, of course, that even sociopaths can become 'fond' of people. Problem is it's in the same way you or I might grow fond of a reliable car or favorite chair.

Sir Pentius leading the defense was so funny but also satisfying to see. He came a long way from his introduction. Charlie's speech was beautiful, both inspiring and silly at the same time, along with all the cheers from the others, especially Niffty's crazy ass 😂 Angel knew exactly how to market Sir Pentius to Cherri 😂 Charlie and Maggie's song/duet was beautiful! That fight between Alastor and Adam was so cool, it's a shame Alastor got slapped around, would've loved to see him actually finish off Adam. Sir Pentius' sacrifice was so damn emotional, the little dumbo really got close to everyone's hearts. Lucifer going ham on Adam - yes please! Could've watched a whole episode of just that. Now we know a sure way of going to Heaven - sacrificing yourself for those you care about - just like Sir Pentius did! It'll be interesting to find out who did Alastor make a deal with and also what's Lilith's deal too. The Vee’s are correct. Alastor almost died form that one attack. If he’s gone it likely wouldn’t be hard for the Vee’s to snatch the title of most prevalent overlords considering the sheer number of souls that TV, Social Media, and Porn can reach

But also -- he was back at the hotel while they were rebuilding it, "And we're doing it with a smile!" he's fully healed when he sings that part. So, the Vees might think he is gone... but he's definitely not.
Interesting note - Sir Pentious doesn't go to HEAVENS GATES. He goes to the SERAPHIM. Even though we know the gates have a watcher with a list of arrivals. So he ascended... But not like a normal soul.
Good point, I hadn’t thought about how the show used Alastor’s battle with Adam to show us how he was getting attached and nearly getting killed got him to take a big step back and get back to pursuing his own goals. Alastor is my fave ❤
We got the 3 levels of Charlie, Normal happy Charlie, Angry Demon Charlie, with the tail and Horns, and then when she punches Adam we see her glow with red lines....Charlie might be the most powerful person and not even know it.
The only reason why she doesnt act like it is because she's soft, she's a pacifict. Someone like Alastor is a skilled fighter because he's more genocidal despite how less powerful he is to Charlie.
It's so refreshing for a show to exceed my expectations. I think everyone was apprehensive when Prime picked it up, but the wait and risk was totally worth it, I hope Vivenne and other UA-cam animators get a lot more projects greenlit now
I'm not sure if anyone's mentioned, but the show Helluva Boss takes place in the same universe. It's a bit of a different vibe, but it's hilarious and still has plenty of meaningful moments.
Remember what Carmilla said about motives in the previous episode? Alastor is the only one at the hotel who was not fighting to defend others and he failed. His primary motive is getting out of that deal. Similarly, I don't think Adam is motivated by a desire to defend heaven. I think he is getting revenge for what happened with Lilith and Eve, and so he also fails in battle.

She then used him to target the predatory Overlords leaving the more compassionate ones such as Zestial and Carmilla. But once the Vees rose up and seemed to have an unusual amount of power as well Alastor met his match. When he fought against Vox it was close but Vox won in the end forcing Alastor to retreat. With Alastor gone Lilith was exposed and Heaven sent Adam to confront her. He threatened her daughter Charlie if she would not return to him and join him in Heaven. So a deal was made to not kill the Hellborn as long as Lilith went to Heaven with Adam. Now that Adam is dead the deal is done and Lute threatens Lilith that she needs to get her brat in line or they are coming for her.
This series has been absolutely amazing, and i cannot wait for more. The one and only notable gripe I have is Pentious' death scene was too fast. It was over in an instant, and he didn't actually hinder Adam for more than a second. It felt like a joke. He and his war machines have been a joke the entire show, and this was the one moment that could and should have changed.
Well Adam has fun right up until something actually threatens him. Basically, Adam blasting Pentious with everything goes to show that while Alastor may think the war machine is a joke, Dickmaster didn't.
I looked this up just to make sure I had heard it right and that it was actually in the bible: Luke 15:7 "I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner repenting, rather than over ninety-nine righteous ones, which need no repentance" Picked the King James Bible version because that's supposed to be the best written version
One thing to pay attention to, other than self sacrifice which may have gotten Sir Pentious into heaven, if Adam's soul doesn't die he'd likely be sent to hell as a demon because he tells everyone they should all be worshiping him, a false idol, a no-go to enter heaven if the rule applies in this universe.

I still think Vaggie should’ve killed that so called “angel.” I get that there prolly might not be a second season for this show if that happened but this was a battle to the death. Plus, those so called “angels” will definitely return and do the same damn thing did before. All is fair in love and war. Can’t be sparing an enemy. No, siree. Remember what happened when Aragorn stopped Theoden from killing Wormtongue? That allowed and caused Wormtongue to snitch on everyone, thus causing a battle wit the wolves just before reaching Helm’s Deep. Plus, funny thing, the people that call themselves oughta realize sometime later on that all the murders they committed are all also sins nevertheless. In episode one Lute said their was an arraignment made so they wouldn't kill the hell born during Extermination. As we know deals are serious business in this world. So the theory is that deal was broken when Adam tries to kill Charlie, allowing Lucifer to intervene.
Probably because of the letter of the deal: as long as he and any other Hellborn (Charlie included) aren't physically hurt by Exterminations, he's to stay out of it period/allow them to occur So until Adam hurt Charlie, and thus voided the deal from Heaven's side, he couldn't interfere without inviting a worse response
@@Omegafire17 Even if there is a deal involved, it has already been broken since the end of the audience in heaven where he said he would go attack her first. Furthermore, it would be strange if Lucifer is aware of the deal, but the angels are not. If they didn't want Lucifer to intervene they simply shouldn't attack Charlie. Even if Adam is an idiot and didnt know anything about the deal, Sera is aware of it and she would have easily told him that if she attacks Charlie, he'll be screwed.
An argument I've heard that I like is that Lucifer was probably watching from a distance, as this was Charlie's fight and a fight that she needed to show others that she's capable of doing in order to inspire her team, and that he only came in when he realized that the tide had turned unexpectedly and Charlie was in actual real danger. Lucifer probably wasn't concerned much about the rest of the cast potentially dying (remember, Lucifer has never had any faith in sinners because, as we've seen before, he has only been shown the negative consequences of his gift of free will, and none of the positive ones) . But he does have faith in his daughter. That said, when they all find out what happened to Sir Pentious, that may well be a game-changer for all involved.
Nah, Husk in episode 5 said that Alastor is onto someone's leash. Also, when Alastor is asked why he disappeared 7 years he's always trying to not answer that

Fights that look like jokes usually only appear in the protagonist Long Aotian's duel or against the villain who does not care about the life and death of his subordinates, but never in the character of the Virgin.
How twisted(and strange) is that Vaggie, who WAS an Exocrist angel and was only left in hell, did not die, have somehow lost her horns, so, a Fallen Angel does not have horns like a Demon, but an actual Exocrist ANGEL still in service of HEAVEN, such as Lute, has horns. Also, when she is up in Heaven talking to Lilith she also no longer has them...for some reason
It's part of the exorcist outfit and color scheme. Horns, mask, uniform, like an executioner wearing a mask and everything to hide their identity. The only thing that doesn't actually make sense (which may have been done purely to hide the face until the last battle) was Adam continuing to wear the mask and such while in heaven when Charlie and Vaggie made their case.

The facemask part looks like it's meant to be removable from the headgear for repair since it shows it malfunctioning on Adam before Lucifer hits him and after Lute's headgear was destroyed knocking it away. Could be in case it gets damaged and parts need fixing. Having it all as one complete thing would mean tossing the whole thing aside as opposed to repairing one single part.

This series has been absolutely amazing, and i cannot wait for more.
The one and only notable gripe I have is Pentious' death scene was too fast. It was over in an instant, and he didn't actually hinder Adam for more than a second. It felt like a joke. He and his war machines have been a joke the entire show, and this was the one moment that could and should have changed.
Well Adam has fun right up until something actually threatens him. Basically, Adam blasting Pentious with everything goes to show that while Alastor may think the war machine is a joke, Dickmaster didn't.
While you're waiting for season 2, you could start watching the spin-off, Helluva Boss. It's very good!
I looked this up just to make sure I had heard it right and that it was actually in the bible:

Picked the King James Bible version because that's supposed to be the best written version
One thing to pay attention to, other than self sacrifice which may have gotten Sir Pentious into heaven, if Adam's soul doesn't die he'd likely be sent to hell as a demon because he tells everyone they should all be worshiping him, a false idol, a no-go to enter heaven if the rule applies in this universe.

I still think Vaggie should’ve killed that so called “angel.” I get that there prolly might not be a second season for this show if that happened but this was a battle to the death. Plus, those so called “angels” will definitely return and do the same damn thing did before. All is fair in love and war. Can’t be sparing an enemy. No, siree. Remember what happened when Aragorn stopped Theoden from killing Wormtongue? That allowed and caused Wormtongue to snitch on everyone, thus causing a battle wit the wolves just before reaching Helm’s Deep. Plus, funny thing, the people that call themselves oughta realize sometime later on that all the murders they committed are all also sins nevertheless. Someone in the show has gotta bring that up in the would be second season. R.I.P. Penditious though. No greater love than when one lays down his or her life for another. Guy would definitely have the chance now to lift Thor’s hammer. He will be missed.

I don't understand why lucifer didnt be from the begining of the battle. I mean he al ready knew that charlie's place was going to be the first target of tha angel invasion
In episode one Lute said their was an arraignment made so they wouldn't kill the hell born during Extermination. As we know deals are serious business in this world. So the theory is that deal was broken when Adam tries to kill Charlie, allowing Lucifer to intervene.
Probably because of the letter of the deal: as long as he and any other Hellborn (Charlie included) aren't physically hurt by Exterminations, he's to stay out of it period/allow them to occur
So until Adam hurt Charlie, and thus voided the deal from Heaven's side, he couldn't interfere without inviting a worse response
@@Omegafire17 Even if there is a deal involved, it has already been broken since the end of the audience in heaven where he said he would go attack her first. Furthermore, it would be strange if Lucifer is aware of the deal, but the angels are not. If they didn't want Lucifer to intervene they simply shouldn't attack Charlie. Even if Adam is an idiot and didnt know anything about the deal, Sera is aware of it and she would have easily told him that if she attacks Charlie, he'll be screwed.
An argument I've heard that I like is that Lucifer was probably watching from a distance, as this was Charlie's fight and a fight that she needed to show others that she's capable of doing in order to inspire her team, and that he only came in when he realized that the tide had turned unexpectedly and Charlie was in actual real danger. Lucifer probably wasn't concerned much about the rest of the cast potentially dying (remember, Lucifer has never had any faith in sinners because, as we've seen before, he has only been shown the negative consequences of his gift of free will, and none of the positive ones) . But he does have faith in his daughter.
That said, when they all find out what happened to Sir Pentious, that may well be a game-changer for all involved.

Something I learned that actually is kind of related to this is that in the Quran Lucifer became bad, because he didn’t worship Adam, so it’s kind of ironic that Adam was demanding worship after Lucifer was fighting him

The Angels and iblis (aka lucifer morningstar for some reason in christianity) were just told to prostrate before Adam peace be upon him as a sign of respect which made iblis (Lucifer) jealous because he he thought himself as better than the first man Adam and said "He is made from clay while im made from fire so im much better than him" he refused to prostrate so Allah (Allah means God in Arabic) got angry with this disobedience so he punished Iblis and the punish was to banish Iblis from Paradise and was thrown into hell which made iblis (Lucifer) an enemy of mankind today. Yeah this is our beleive hope u understand the we only worship Allah/God the creator and no one else is worthy to be worshipped except him. Fights that look like jokes usually only appear in the protagonist Long Aotian's duel or against the villain who does not care about the life and death of his subordinates, but never in the character of the Virgin.
How twisted(and strange) is that Vaggie, who WAS an Exocrist angel and was only left in hell, did not die, have somehow lost her horns, so, a Fallen Angel does not have horns like a Demon, but an actual Exocrist ANGEL still in service of HEAVEN, such as Lute, has horns. Also, when she is up in Heaven talking to Lilith she also no longer has them...for some reason
It's part of the exorcist outfit and color scheme. Horns, mask, uniform, like an executioner wearing a mask and everything to hide their identity.
The only thing that doesn't actually make sense (which may have been done purely to hide the face until the last battle) was Adam continuing to wear the mask and such while in heaven when Charlie and Vaggie made their case.
@@demonsorrows But it kind of pretty much looks like the horns are growing out of Lute's head. She is fighting without the mask, and the hood. It would have seemed like it was attached to the hood, but not.

The facemask part looks like it's meant to be removable from the headgear for repair since it shows it malfunctioning on Adam before Lucifer hits him and after Lute's headgear was destroyed knocking it away. Could be in case it gets damaged and parts need fixing. Having it all as one complete thing would mean tossing the whole thing aside as opposed to repairing one single part.
