I have fallen in love with Hellebores as well. I haven't been able to find a large selection of varieties around me but I want definitely add more to my garden this year. I was so exhausted by the end of summer with my garden but now I am eager for it to grow again. I have several months to plan for 2024.
I was lucky to move into a house with a large garden in autumn 2022. One of the first things I decided to do was plant as many bulbs into the lawn as possible. I searched UA-cam for inspiration and came across your channel 🙂. I’ve been watching ever since. It was back-breaking but the joy I felt in the spring when my lawn filled with flowers was well worth it! I’ve planted 1000 or so more this autumn. Thank you for your content.
Oh, your garden is just wonderful and such a joy to see the ducks! I cannot wait for springtime, but it's nice seeing everything sleeping at the moment. You inspired me to put in 300 bulbs, I'm so excited to see how they develop. I do hope that you have a wonderful and peaceful Christmas and best wishes for the New Year! Thank you for sharing your garden, it's truly magical. 🦆🎄🥰x
All for the willow hurdles as it will complement that metal nicely. And love that you’re keeping the spaces off your grass and letting them reason on the borders. Also regarding the garden looking ‘messy’ to me it’s natural as that’s what those plants would do in the wild and allowing wildlife to find shelter, which is what we all should be doing. Great work!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 and good to see your broad beans doing well they’ll be good against the blackly 👍🏻
Just found your channel, such a beautiful garden, giving me lots of inspiration, we moved to our Cornish farmhouse a couple if years ago & started to share our journey on utube, look forward to watching yours 😊
Interesting, in England dark at 4:00, here in Ohio, dark at 5:00, Interesting that you are so very far north, yet, if I remember correctly, the massive ocean current that prevents England from becoming arctic is called the Atlantic conveyor. Interesting paradox that we are much further south than you, but our winters are much colder than yours. 2:23 I also do not remove dead perennial stems because i helps me with knowing what was growing where so that i don't drive the shovel or hoe into the roots come springtime planting. Good to hear from you, with your show and tell, mery Christmas and a happy New Year to you all! Ralph in Ohio 🎄🎄🎄
Thank you so much for creating this lovely channel. I discovered you about half a year ago and absolutely adore your videos. Watching them is incredibly relaxing and uplifting to me. Please keep on creating and showing us your lovely garden and your adorable ducks❤

Excited to see your bulb display next spring I've gone mad too adding to the native wood anenome, lesser celandine, native daffodils, bluebells and snowdrops just hope the squirrels leave my crocus be😀
I love seeing the ducks, they are very happy to be out. I look forward to see all the new bulbs this spring that you have planted. I did plant some bulbs in my yard, I hope they surprise me and they come up. Spring is coming!
What a delight to see the ducks foraging! ❤ for your new border I would suggest adding the willow, I think that little accent would tie in nicely with the hazel hurdle. Merry Christmas ❤😊
Excited to see ypur December garden update,& especially the ducks.Always interesting your garden vlogs.Springtime with your bulbs yaay.Happy Christmas & a wonderful New Year to.To you both .❤
Backwards binging your videos as a recent subscriber. Lots of helpful information. All the structures have added a wonderful charm to your cottage garden. Next Autumn I will try to remember to plant bulbs directly into my lawn! Reminder please!
Actually, some day, maybe you will consider leaving the leaves on the ground where they are. The trees drop them because winter rains and snow would make the branches have a hard time and get too heavy and break trying to support the wet leaves. Likewise, another reason they drop their leaves is to fertilize themselves as well as the surrounding plants. Also, leaf litter is very beneficial to the small creatures such as bugs, even moths and butterflies and such insects help feed the birds, hedgehogs, raccoons and opossums. Not only that, leaf litter breaks down fairly quickly and naturally fertilizes your lawn. It’s a win for all, especially if you love nature.😊❤😊
Always enjoy seeing your ducks out and about in the garden, don't they look happy!
Merci de voir des canards tranquillement vivre libre, et bravo de vivre ainsi !
Good to see the ducks happy and roaming free. Have a lovely festive period. I look forward to seeing the bulbs in the new year

I'm so in love with your 'shed' windows, someone spent a lot of time on that.

I was just thinking about you this morning! And here you are with another wonderful video!
I just suscribed to your channel and will go backwards :D nice to sit here for a while.
Trees roots are not directly around the trunk. Mow the leaves in situ and the will decompose to feed the tree roots quicker.
Really looking forward spring !! You did not put the outside Christmas tree this year ?
❤❤❤❤❤
Is your badger shirt available for purchase? Asking for a friend..
I love your coat, Mona! Can I ask what brand it is? Thank you so much for your garden inspiration!
Another lovely video! 😊🌱
Out of interest, where do you get your hurdles from?

She has left the leaves in the borders. Sometimes you have to remove leaves to see where to cutback shrubs. No harm in that
